Is the KM who posts on RedCafe with 30,000+ posts the same one who used to grace this forum?

I'd imagine so, I seem to remember him mentioning RedCafe a few times on here.

Incredible.

Brazil getting beat 7-1 in their own back yard in a WC semi-final. Who'd have thought that would ever happen.

Can't really predict a winner in either with any real confidence.

Would like a Brazil-Argentina final. If not, then Germany-Holland - also huge huge rivals.

I found that similar to France vs Germany, an early lead and like France, Belgium didn't really offer anything.

Belgium have been disappointing.

Yep, very similar.

Expect Holland to get the job done later, 2-0 perhaps. Hope it's a good game above all.

France weren't great really, although they could have leveled right at the end. Benzema should have hit it hard and low and someone may have knocked the rebound in.

Just another routine WC semi-final appearance for Germany, fourth in a row. Incredible.

These prices are horrific. Other countries must be pissing themselves at players that can't even get into the worst England team for decades going for £30m and £25m.

The Shaw one makes sense from a playing perspective, they could have a good left back for 10 years (they're not going to turn him into a utility player like they did with Phil Jones) but £30m deary me.

And Lallana is a good midfielder with a nice touch, passing range and technical ability overall but £25m? £15m at the very most. Most midfielders you'd see in La Liga possess the same qualities but would go for a fraction of that price.

He got Blackburn relegated, he's a shitheap imo.

He left in about November that season, we were looking dire yep and a certain group of players (reportedly led by Tim Sherwood) turned against him but Brian Kidd came in and more than finished the job off.

Worth noting that in his only full season here, we came 6th and were actually in the top 2 until January.

Not that any of this is really relevant, it was the best part of 20 years ago and he's done enough elsewhere in his long career all over the world that proves he's a good manager.

Unbelievable. Fancied Chile to get through but instead of Holland, never even considered Spain collapsing like this.

Well he had made it, a CL-challenging club paid £15m for him. The problem is that once he got there, he did nothing.

Started to believe his own hype is what I meant, he thought he genuinely was the new Beckham.

Had all the talent and got some very fond memories of him at Rovers but yeah, comes across as a right tool and thought he'd made it when he went to Spurs for big money.

Am I the only one who is sick off all the build up to the world cup now? Just like Christmas the hype has been dragging on for so bloody long I'm sick of hearing about it now and just want to get on with it.

Don't mind personally, once every four years, love it all, a tournament so big deserves a big build up.

Just hope it's a better tournament than 2010. Didn't realise at the time but it was a pretty poor WC.

Suarez is really the only player in the group that should unduly worry us.

Rumours that Sedoorf will be sacked, with Inzaghi to replace him.

Proper bonkers.

It is indeed, don't know what they expected from Seedorf in just a few months after the mess he inherited. And as much as I love Super Pippo, I could sort of understand replacing Seedorf with an experienced winner, not someone with the same amount of managerial experience as him (zero).

I was in London for a gig last night and on the backpage of the Evening Standard on my way home, it said the West Ham board want a top six finish in 2014/15.

Fucking hell. They'd be lucky to finish top 10 with their squad.

Like I've said before, long gone are the times around 2005, 2006 where teams like Rovers, Bolton and even Villa could finish, and were finishing, in the top 6. There's basically a top 7 in place nowadays so even when a really good team like Southampton come along playing good football, the highest they can realistically finish is 8th. Shame really, and then they'll probably lose a couple of their stars this summer.

So yeah, top 10 would be strong from West Ham, expecting more would be daft.

Nope, and whoever that is can make a difference, regardless of the squad quality. Palace and Pulis being this season's main example.

Struggling to recognize a lot of those players in the Argentine squad. And that Brazilian team that hasn't made the squad looks awesome

Two or three unfamiliar names in defence, where they'll probably be suspect, but some excellent options going forward. Di Santo though haha, I mean he put a decent shift in most games when he was here but I thought you needed more than that to be picked for Argentina's squad!

Derby v QPR in the play-off final.

I would much rather Derby won it.

You're not alone there. Would love to see media darling Redknapp fail (although coming 4th in itself was a failure to be honest).
