Welcome readers to what'll be my first (and I'm hoping only) Football Manager 2015 career and just like Dan, I plan to try and conquer Europe and then the world. Just like the career a few years ago, we discussed stuff over private message and we decided that this will be the career for us, so lets hope nothing will go wrong and this'll be an epic career*.
*career may actually not be epic.
Before anyone asks, yes I've done this type of career before and it can be viewed HERE but that came to an abrupt end when I got that dreaded 'save game cannot be loaded but now I'm back and determined to complete what will be a career full of twists, turns, heartbreak, glory, depression and probably quite a few sackings but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'll also be learning different 'languages' but that's not overly important, just wanted to mention it.
Just like normal, Europe has thirty four playable countries on the default database and that's what I intend on doing first before heading to the rest of the world, I have decided that I will be 'boring' and attempt to conquer Europe alphabetically meaning that I'll start in Austria* and by the time I finish in Wales, you'll see me at grounds complete with zimmer frame in around the year 3000, still determined to be a success.
*I'll only start in Austria if I can get a job, if not I'd have to start elsewhere.
I've not added key staff, have added players to playable teams and then prevented any use of the in-game editor.

I'm only on my third laptop Cymro in so long, not my fault the other one refused to load. This one should (touch wood) last a long time. Cheers anyway.
Instead of throwing this into the OP, I have decided that the managerial post needed it's own update as they've added actual stats to the managerial page, which, to me, is much better and adds a lot of realism to it, that is if the stats don't boom up like they allegedly have been doing on the beta to some people.
As per normal in my careers, it's time for me to introduce myself. I'm "Shedender", a twenty seven year old Northern Irish man who has decided to plunge into football management and it's something I can't wait to get my teeth into, not Luis Suarez style though. I was born in Dundonald, east Belfast and support my local club Bangor who play ten minutes walk from where I live, I am also part Scottish.
I'm also a fan of English Premier League side Newcastle United and Scottish club Rangers. I will be trying to play my favourite 4231 (wide) formation with my stance of "attack, attack, attack" and I only speak English and no other languages.....yet.
So, how do they managerial stats look like?
Poor but that's absolutely fine as I'll be starting on a 'traditional' Sunday League Footballer reputation (Boys Brigade reputation wasn't available, the last time I actually played football, poorly, but still played) and I'm sure the stats will rise up but I'm hoping not too quickly as that'll be unrealistic indeed. All stats are either at two or three except for working with youngsters, which is only one.
All I need to do now is play the waiting game, sign on the dole and hope I can get a job as soon as possible.

The plan for this career was to begin in Austria and work my way through Europe alphabetically but unfortunately circumstances have changed and I was unable to get a job in Austria unless I started with the highest 'Continental' license and an international footballer reputation, something I didn't agree with so I didn't go ahead with it.
So I switched my attention to starting in another country and chose Norway for my destination.
When I arrived in Norway, fully wrapped up as it was the beginning of February I was informed by my 'agent' that their was several vacancies available, especially down in the lower leagues of Norwegian football so I had a look at them all and after that I had my eye on one job and one job only as they were predicted to finish quite high in the table.
I applied but would I even receive an interview or would it be back to square one already?
Right, it's a start as Oddsenligaen Avdeling 4 league side Kvik Halden offered me an interview just a few days after arriving in the country as I didn't want to waste any time at all in starting my managerial quest across Europe and possibly beyond. Of course I attended the interview but would I do enough to 'wow' them and get offered my first step in football management?
BOOM! I'm finally going to get my start in football management and I cannot wait to get started as the club, plying their trade in Oddsenligaen Avdeling 4 have offered me the managers job, yes a man with no coaching badges and a Sunday League footballer reputation so this is destined to end in failure but I'll enjoy EVERY minute of it.
They were formed in 1906 and are predicted to finish fifth in a league that has just fourteen teams so the pressure is on me from the start but it's something I'm relishing and I can't wait to get started. The league season hasn't begun yet.

Gendo, I don't think he's available on my game which is annoying.
It was annoying Tommo. that the previous attempt had to end so abruptly but cest le vie, this should last a long time now.
Of course, no point wasting time DP91, is there? It's the first time I've ever had a proper career in Norway (managed their before, had no motivation to continue and quit after like a day haha. They're predicted to finish fifth so it should be a (hopefully) successful season.
Nah I knew you meant the laptop Johno so I wouldn't worry, cheers mate.
Cheers tongey, I believe Norway only has four trophies to win (someone correct me if I'm wrong please) so I hope not to be here long, about six seasons tops if I can get lucky and switch clubs at the right time.
What simoncoyne? This is only my third laptop in about seven (maybe shorter than that) years, I've used the previous two until their 'deaths'.
Kvik Halden: Pre season round-up.
As I arrived in Norway to start my managerial run at Kvik Halden I had to take a long and hard look at the first team, reserve and youth squad before deciding how much work needed to be done in pre season and the first thing I noticed was that signings needed to be made as the first team squad was very short, could I add the quality to the squad?
I also noticed that the club had already arranged four pre season friendly encounters with three of them being at home and I thought that would be enough so decided not to arrange anymore, since I'll be busy trying to capture signings and 'bribe' them into joining Kvik, my assistant manager will take charge of the pre season games. He best not let me down.
It turned out to be a short but successful program as we won three of our four friendly clashes although we failed to keep any clean sheets, which doesn't overly bother me... yet.
Our one and only away game saw us come from 2-1 down to defeat Jonsered as new signing Trond Haugstad scored the winner in second half stoppage time and it would be the same story in our first home friendly as we defeated Brumunddal 3-2, Benjamin Yacoub scoring the winner in the first minute of second half stoppage time, we then drew with Nybergsund and then beat Valdres 2-1 to conclude the pre season program.
Just like the previous attempt, I terminated the entire reserve and youth team contracts due to none of them being good enough and I highly doubt they'd even be missed at the club but good luck to them wherever they go and brought in six new players all on free transfers and I hope they can make the difference between a solid season and a promotion/championship winning season,
Like the previous career I once again brought in central midfielder Frederik Borenstein and strikers Aleksander Jaeger who will once again be first choice and Trond Haugstad who will be back up. Attacking midfielder Shkodran Rexhaj joined from Skedsmo in the amateur leagues (I believe) and will be first choice while Kim Andre Brenna is another striker who will be back-up and Martin Vethe is a defender who has poor pace but I hope that won't cost him in this division because he's got good tackling and strength.
I've also decided to change my assistant manager for the foreseeable future, but who came in?
That's correct, I have appointed former Tottenham Hotspur striker Steffen Iversen as my new assistant manager and I'm hoping he'll be with me throughout the majority of this career one way or another, just like me, he has no coaching badges and a rubbish reputation but he's currently training for his National C license, which he's paying for himself.
Been thinking, if I ask him nicely, will be pay for mine as well? Probably not.

With a promising pre season program behind us, my first ever competitive game at Kvik Halden and in management was closing in as we would host Medkila before travelling to Mo and then facing Valerenga 2 at home while we'd also have a daunting Cupen Cup game against Tippeligaen side Stromsgodset, who are predicted to finish third in the top flight.
I was unveiled to the Kvik supporters before our first league game of the season against Medkila and it was a day to remember for me and the club as we trounced them six nil. Christoffer Solheim scored twice (including one penalty) while signings Shkodran Rexhaj and Aleksander Jaeger also got on the scoresheet while Dino Mulac and Ole Stromsborg also found the net.
Our first away game of the campaign took us to Mo as we needed an equaliser, two minutes from time to salvage a point as young striker Aleksander Jaeger scored his second and third goal of the season while Shkodran Rexhaj bagged his second of the season with fourteen minutes remaining on the clock.
It was a forgettable night in the first round of the Cupen Cup as Stromsgodset showed their superiority to win the tie 7-2, the contest was over at half time as the top flight side scored four times within the final fourteen first half minutes. Attacking midfielder Shkodran Rexhaj and an own goal scored our goals on a miserable night.
We did bounce straight back though just three days later as we picked up a four nil home win over Valerenga 2 as Fabian Andersen put us into the lead inside the opening minute before an own goal doubled the lead at half time, Dino Mulac's spot kick on the hour made it three before Shkodran Rexhaj continued his fantastic start to the season (four goals in as many games) added a fourth with ten left.
After three games played in the league, Kvik Halden find themselves in second place as I've seemingly adapted to management here in Norway and overall pretty quickly but I'm sure it's going to get tougher as the season progresses, we have scored an insane thirteen goals in our opening three games, conceding three times.

It's been a good start to the league season and as we entered the second month of the campaign, May, we looked to continue our unbeaten start with five league games with three of those being on the road and the other two at our home venue.
The month started with a nine goal thriller away to Skeid as we ran out six three winners as both Fabian Andersen and Dino Mulac hitting doubles while Shkodran Rexhaj and Aleksander Jaeger was also on target as we maintained our unbeaten start to the season.
Six days later we welcomed Drobak-Frogan to our home as we picked up a deserved four two win and goals from Fabian Andersen, Shkodran Rexhaj and Dino Mulac saw us score three goals inside the opening thirteen minutes which is incredible and then on thirty one minutes, Rexhaj scored his second of the game and our fourth.
We then travelled to Eldsvoid Town and secured yet another maximum points as we won four two away from home as young central midfielder Fredrik Borenstein bagged his first Kvik hat trick while Fabian Andersen scored our other goal.
Eight days later we hosted KFUM Oslo and scored our third consecutive four two win thanks to another treble, this time from teenage striker Aleksander Jaeger as he scored on twenty two, fifty four and sixty four minutes while another striker, Kim Andre Brenna scored on fifty nine minutes as yet again we maintained our great start,
The month concluded with an away game against Lorenskog as we picked up a hard fought two one win as central defender Ole Stromsborg broke the deadlock on five minutes, central midfielder Martin Elvestad's goal on fifty one minutes turned out to be the winner as we ended the month top of the table.
So we have ended the month top of the table on goal difference and we're still unbeaten and still scoring for fun as we've now bagged thirty three goals in only eight goals but we've now conceded thirteen times. It could be worse though, Medkila have had a stinking start to the season and have lost all their eight games.

Cheers Dan, the amount of goals scored needs to be addressed by the next patch, I think it's completely unrealistic at times.
Kvik Halden have had a remarkable start to the campaign under my stewardship as we entered the third month of the campaign and June would prove to be a short month as we only had three games to play with two of them away from home, we stayed top of the table but our unbeaten run came to an end.
It was a top of the table against Follo that began the month as we shared six goals on the road despite goals from Shkodran Rexhaj and Fabian Andersen putting us two goals up we could only pick up a point as Andersen's second of the afternoon salvaged our unbeaten start to the 2. Divisjon Avd. 4 season.
Our only home game of June saw us defeat Finnsnes 4-2 as Trond Haugstad, in for the injured Aleksander Jaeger scored twice while Fredrik Borenstein and Fabian Andersen were also on target in the win.
The unbeaten league run finally came to an end when we travelled to eleventh place Harstad as the hosts won the game six three. Winger Fabian Andersen, an own goal from Marcus Ursin Ingebrigtsen and left back Christoffer Solheim scored our goals on a disappointing afternoon on our travels.
Despite our first defeat of the campaign we remain top of the table and two points ahead of Follo as we've a superior goal difference to our nearest challengers, we have now scored forty three goals and conceded twenty four, so at least we're providing entertainment for our paying customers but I'd like to stop conceding so many.

They sure do DP91 and I do think it's unrealistic because you shouldn't be picking up strange and big results (each way) on a regular basis, if you think this month was short, the next one that's coming up is even shorter.
We have been outstanding in the opening few months of the season, losing just the once in the league as we entered the month of July which turned out to be the shortest month of the campaign, just the two games were played as we looked to return to winning ways as soon as possible.
The first of two games this month saw us face a tough Moss side who we ended up defeating 5-3 in a game that saw our young striker Aleksander Jaeger score a hat trick while Kim Andre Brenna and Fabian Andersen was also on target away from home as we maintained our top spot.
We then had to come from a goal down to defeat Kjelsas as we struck three second half goal as strikers Kim Andre Brenna and Aleksander Jaeger both scored with the latter netting twice.
We are four points clear at the top following the two wins from as many games this month as we've already went over the half century of league goals.

Last month saw us pick up two wins from as many games last month as my Kvik Halden side maintained top spot in the league, August sees us play five games as we look to march on and secure the league title and this month sees us play three away games and two at home but could we maintain our good season to date?
We kicked the month off away to bottom of the table and winless Medkila as we defeated them 6-0 for the second time this season, Shkodran Rexhaj and Aleksander Jaeger both hit doubles while winger Fabian Andersen and central defender Ole Stromsborg also scored in the rout against the side who look doomed for the drop.
A week later we hosted Mo and the contest produced a ten goal thriller as we ran out seven three winners in a game that saw both wingers, Dino Mulac and Fabian Andersen both score twice, visitors Mo also played their part in their own downfall as Joran Fossmo, Kristian Bolstad and Ali Karan all put through their own net.
Next up was a trip to Valerenga 2 and once again we were in the goals as our sensational run continued, running out 5-2 winners. For the second game running Fabian Andersen scored twice, Aleksander Jaeger also found the net twice on the road and Dino Mulac added our only goal in the second half on fifty two minutes, once again we couldn't keep a clean sheet.
Our fourth game of the month saw Skeid make the trip to our home and we defeated them four one, goals from Faton Hoti and Ole Stromsborg put us two goals up at the interval, Martin Elvestad scored a penalty and Hoti's second with six minutes left made it four one.
August would come to an end with a 4-2 defeat at Drobak-Frogn despite Faton Hoti putting us into the lead after only twelve minutes, Fabian Andersen's second goal meant nothing as we lost only our second league game of the season.
Even though we suffered just our second defeat of the season we still look on course for promotion this season as we are currently sitting seven points clear of second placed Follo and we've also scored seventy five goals this season in the league alone which is insane for the third tier of Norwegian football. Medkila finally also won their first game of the season.
