McGeady creates an actual chance 1 in every 10 times there's a chance creating opportunity. I love the man, but he's shit at creating chances.

I agree with you his final pass is the most frustrating part of his game, does my head in. Unfortunately I doubt Hoolahan or Pilkington will get the nod to start against Sweden or Austria.

Hope Pilks goes on to have a cracking international career with Ireland. I'm a bit gutted he was never picked by Hodgson, as at present he's streets ahead of the likes of Raheem Sterling and Andros Townsend. For my money, he's the best crosser of a ball in open play in the Premier League, can play on the left and the right, genuinely two-footed, the lot. I'll admit to being biased after seeing him rip up League One in Town colours, but he really is a class player.

Shame about the beard, though.

Someone mentioned Guus Hiddink which would be a fabulous appointment but I doubt he'd want to manage Ireland and I doubt we'd be able to afford his wages.

Being linked with the Australian job should Holger Osieck leave and he'd probably prefer taking them over rather than us. Would be much easier for him to qualify for the World Cup if he can get them playing good football.
