This is the first time in the history of the UEFA Champions League group stage that two teams from the same group both ended up with 15 points.

I don't recall saying that, but the fact City were playing their reserve team away from home against a team on a 40 match unbeaten run after going 2-0 down, I think that's a pretty impressive result.

EDIT: Well that's 40 unbeaten in the Bundesliga, and they have won every match at home since said Arsenal match. But still, with the points I said above, an impressive result!

Excellent header from Drogba to set up Sneijder.

Hard blow for Juve who looked to be in total control when I switched on.

Juve only have themselves to blame, should have sealed this group up long ago.

So no Italian sides in the CL knockout rounds? Ever happened before?

As do Milan, but they're both on the back foot in that regard, if we're honest.

Milan will be fine. And if they can't manage a draw at home to Ajax, they don't deserve to qualify.

Not surprised about Juventus, streets behind the top teams in Europe. The pitch is no excuse either - same for both teams and when you've only got 3 points from your first 4 group games you've only got yourselves to blame.

It wasn't aimed at you, but the majority seemed to write the Arsenal win off despite it being much more important to Bayern than last nights for example. And you seem to forget that a City reserve side is still better than most others first eleven! It still had around £454326m worth of talent including Hart, Kolarov, Navas, Silva, Fernandino and Garcia.

Im pleased they won, but see the actual result far less an achievement than what we managed and we really didn't get the credit we deserved for it imo.

Any one else think Jenkinson is too 'small-time' for Arsenal? He's a great player like, but I just think that in his head he still plays like he's playing in League 2. Thinks like not taking many chances and basically just running the wing, crossing it and if he's defending, just boot it out. Very 'old school'. Just something I noticed recently
