Team versus Stoke: Cech (c); Ivanovic, David Luiz, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Mikel; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres

Subs: Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Terry, Bertrand, Romeu, Lampard, Moses

Nice attacking team. Can't wait to see Trio of Mata, Oscar and Hazard playing together.

Lampard finally dropped and Ramires in central, about time. Hopefully this provides the defence with a bit more cover, while also helps Torres having actual attacking players to support him.

Would like to see either Moses, Azpilicueta and Romeu at some point too.

What a fucking performance that was... I don't know what has got into Anichebe lately but he looks like a completely different player. We could of easily won that match 6-0, hit few chances wide/over from near enough 1on1s!

Is that you, TS?

I'm not that bad.

As much as I detest the guy I wouldn't wish a serious or career-threatening injury on him. That said, I can't say I'd hold any sympathy if he were to hurt himself and/or end up in jail for raping again.

What a shitty game from Chelsea.

Looks like they tried for 90 minutes to score the perfect goal (like the second against Newcastle), running in to a wall and diving when they lost the ball.

Brani was a prick today. Dived twice to get a penalty, hit Walters on the arms and acted bitchy with Etherington at the end.

David Luiz should have been sent-off too.

3 points and a clean-sheet, that really all there is to be satisfied with.

I didn't see the game. Did Anichebe seriously play well? This is very disconcerting. I despise the guy but it seems I may have to start putting up with him a lot more

The lad played out of his skin, i'd say he might be on performance enhancing drugs. Could of had a hattrick. This isn't the Anichebe we all love to hate,I don't know what is going on.

Really nice goal by Cole there, that back heel from Mata was classy. Enjoyed that one.

What Lineker said is spot on. If a Stoke player did the same challenge as Luiz there they'd have been off.

I'd feel slightly bad if it was any other club than Stoke.

I very much doubt it.

What saved Luiz was two things: 1) It was inside his own half still. 2) It wasn't two footed.

Which is basically whoever the commentator was on the stream I was watching said.

But as Bobber said, it's was against Stoke.

What matters is that Chelsea got the job done. Under AVB last year, they would've dropped points in that situation. They're now on 13 points and are still at the top of the table, that's what's important. Especially after a tiring game midweek.

He goes studs in on his shin ffs, are you thick?

Also no mention from anyone on any of the 3 clear dives from Ivanovic and Oscar, there was a witch hunt on here last week over Welbeck.

Yeah, they didn't win a penalty from their dives, though.

It's a Chelsea player, are you surprised he's defending the indefensible?

Tiote and Cisse could both return for Newcastle this afternoon.

Predict a 3-1 win, Cisse to get on the score sheet.

Two clear dives. I don't think the Oscar one was that bad (wasn't a pen though)

No Vidic and Giggs in the team.

Fucking fuck.

Oh great.

Giggs, in a midfield 2 against Liverpool's three.
