Don't you support two teams in the same league?

Can't really criticize other fans.

Some fucking consistency would be nice. If that is a foul on Valencia then the one on Suarez had to be too.

Why is Suso even playing?

Because he's a really good talent?

Fucking abysmal. Evans and Van Persie should have had red cards if Shelvey had one, and Suarez should at least of had a penalty, alongside the fact that Valencia dived for their penalty. Dreadful referee.

I can't help but feel bad for Liverpool. United would have been lucky to have got a point after the way they played.

Based on what exactly?

Baffling why he's been thrown on at half time against Man United seemingly based on a good performance against Young Boys.

Brilliant result, if not a great performance. Kagawa amongst others looked off a bit.

And did someone say that van Persie should have been sent off? Love it.

I don't think Liverpool fans can realistically have too many complaints about the referee.

Shelvey's challenge was awful (Evan's wasn't much better but he got there before Shelvey, which is why he got the decision) and Johnson's wasn't much better. If you make shit tackles like that you're always running the risk (Van Persie got off it because play carried on, referees aren't allowed to play on and then send players off).

Either way we were very, very lucky. We were awful. Michael Carrick once again had a poor game when closed down quickly. Giggs, I'm still not sure why he played. And we look utterly unable to give Kagawa or Van Persie the ball in a position where they can actually do something.

Oh and I'm fucking over the moon Suarez's antics are catching up with him, even the commentator screamed 'CLEAR DIVE' when he threw himself over Evans' leg.

F*cking hell Halsey was utter garbage, f*ck off United. That's the only way they were gonna win.

There was way more contact on Suarez than Valencia, put it that way.

That minute when Glen Johnson took out Agger and then conceded the penalty was possibly one of the worst any footballer has had this season.

There wasn't really much of a fight put up by your players against the penalty tbf. Glen Johnson seems to know as soon as it's given.

I thought the Suarez one was a penalty too, but the way he goes to ground and exaggerates the contact goes against him.

RVP's challenge wasn't a red at all, nowhere near as reckless as the Shelvey incident.

Wasn't really Johnson's fault originally, it was more Suso's misplaced ball.

Never a penalty (although one replay does show a slight push). RvP harshly booked (Kelly did the same tackle when the added on time board went up) and the red was deserved as he left the ground and took the player. Liverpool didn't deserve to lose though.

How in the bluest of hell was Gerrard MoTM though? Also I thought this game was about respecting the 96 so why was Suarez diving and why did they boo Evra? The chanting over YNWA is fine in my eyes.

Yeah as Neville said, the way Suarez throws his head back unnaturally makes it look too dramatic. If he wasn't such a natural diver he might have got that.

I assume you've never seen Suso in action before that? No? ...

He is a promising talent and if you've only ever seen him a few days before, then you're hardly qualified to comment on whether he is a talent or not?

We got fucked over so much by the ref there.

What? The tribue to the 96 was before the match, which is when your scrotes starting chanting.

Should have been a penalty for Liverpool btw, which is what I assume you're refering to.

Great win, not a great performance, but it's three points.

I can mention a few examples of us not getting decisions at Anfield in recent years, so this is a welcome change.

Gerrard getting MOTM was bizarre. I think Rio deserved it more.

I'm getting sick of saying it but: the result was disappointing but the effort shown by the players was brilliant. We outplayed United for the entire match even with 10 men and eventually got undone by a brilliant goal against the run of play and a contentious decision. If we keep up the good work and continue to play well the results will come eventually, they have to

I meant our penalty but Suarez was barely touched. I'm undecided on it.

Every club has 'scrotes' but YNWA is normal prematch isn't it?

Not saying he isn't a talent just saying he should not have played based on the simple facts that he's only had one good game for the first team, he's only 18 and that he gave the ball away which cost Liverpool a goal.

Not a place to make your debut when you're team are down to 10 men.

Thought he did alright, all things considered. I'm surprised Henderson wasn't in his place for the change but Suso is probably the better option in the final third. He's more of a playmaker type which was what Rodgers will have wanted.
