Yes the performance was excellent again, we have to get results sooner or later, we've dominated against Man City, Sunderland and now United and we will eventually get something from our domination, and maybe even the referees. 18th after 5 matches is horrendous however, and there lies a big problem with our attack. 4 goals from 5 games is not good enough.

For reflection, against these teams last year;
West Brom (a) WIN
Man City (h) DRAW
Arsenal (h) LOSS
Sunderland (a) DRAW
Man Utd (h) DRAW

6 pts and 1 defeat against the same teams at the same venue, 1-3-1. This time around 2 pts and 3 defeats, 0-2-3. So we're working at -4pts atm, we need to readdress the balance soon.

Not saying he isn't a talent just saying he should not have played based on the simple facts that he's only had one good game for the first team, he's only 18 and that he gave the ball away which cost Liverpool a goal.

Not a place to make your debut when you're team are down to 10 men.

Thought he did alright, all things considered. I'm surprised Henderson wasn't in his place for the change but Suso is probably the better option in the final third. He's more of a playmaker type which was what Rodgers will have wanted.

I feel like Henderson coming on was the stupidest decision of the game.

Absolutely no point taking Sterling off who was giving Evra problems all day long.

Yeah I think Shelvey's red was deserved, but Evan's getting nothing was a poor decision in my opinion. He was two footed and not fully on the ball too.

Absolute bollocks that. If Shelvey is sent of then Evans has to go too? I'd say Evans is gone in worse, he's got both feet off the ground and in the direction of Shelvey, while Jonjo is coming in sort of awkwardly, with one leg to the side, which would never affect Evans. Van Persie's lounge was pretty bad too, but I've only seen one replay so I'll wait till match of the day with that one. Nice to see them get a penalty for one of the softest touches ever, but us get denied for the Suarez one.

Consistancy, eh.

Baring all that we played alright, gutted with the result though.
