To be fair, it seems like all West Ham fans are acting the same, i'd be much happier doing what they are doing than trying to play a different way and risk being further down the league as it is moving away from your strengths. Just no pleasing some people

Yeah, ridiculous tbh. A lot of the fans are doing my head in at the minute, yes Moyes isn't doing a good job right now, yes maybe he should go, but this is just stupid. You can't expect success constantly and then throw your dummy out when we go through a bad spell. It's only gonna make the club look and its fans look even more daft. All this will achieve is to possibly disrupt the club even more, when really we should be uniting to at least try and finish the season on a positive note. Thats my opinion anyway

I've heard several United fans saying they will be hoping for Villa to win just so Moyes position becomes more insecure.

To will your own team to lose speaks volumes.

I've to admit that I'm not one to judge - definitely hoped that we'd lose some games in the past in the hope that Wenger would do what was required at the time (probably transfers related).

Aye well I'm certainly not one of those. I'm not the biggest Moyes fan at the moment but as long as he is our manager I'll be wanting him and the team to do well obviously. Jjust the nature of a lot of football fans unfortunately, every team has its share, it's just the light is being shone in ours a lot recently

Regardless of who is in charge in the dugout or the boardroom I'd never want United to lose.

I'm not sure what to think about the banner thing.

I agree with the sentiment, but it's classless and tacky.

On the other hand, when fans turn on the manager no one looks good, and the clubs unwillingness to put Moyes out of his misery so far will lead to shit like this. I'm not sure booing, banners or staying away look any better.

The problem will be that it will have the negative effect, I guarantee the plane will get booed, Moyes and the club will consider it a statement of support for Moyes and his position will be more secure.

Also:

It has also been confirmed that a second plane has been booked to fly around the ground at the same time.

While the company involved in that venture is refusing to say who has arranged the flight, or what the second banner will say, it merely heightens an already surreal situation.

I really hope its something like this http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/DownWithThisSortOfThing_right_599.jpg

The plane banner is embarrassing, we've become a joke.

MUFC: De Gea; Rafael, Jones, Vidic, Buttner; Young, Fellaini, Fletcher, Kagawa; Mata, Rooney.
Subs: Amos, Giggs, Chicharito, Carrick, Nani, Welbeck, Januzaj.

AVFC: Guzan; Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Bertrand; Westwood, Delph, Albrighton, Weimann; Benteke, Agbonlahor.
Subs: Steer, Sylla, Holt, Tonev, Bennett, Robinson, Lowton.

I don't know, getting hammered by City and Liverpool and barely managing a shot on target was 'embarrassing'. Our manager running his mouth like a little school girl about how its everyones fault but his is 'embarrassing'. Getting knocked out of the COC by Sunderland and playing awfully, losing 2-0 in Greece thats been the 'embarrassing' stuff this season,

The plane? It's not ideal but essentially its well meaning by a bunch of people who are doing it because they care about the club. I'm far less 'embarrassed' about that than basically everything else thats happened since January. I wish they hadn't chartered a fucking plane as a first line of protest, but I'm not sure I can be too critical of a bunch of people saying something that I agree with because they're doing it in a manner that I don't.

Moyes on the people that paid for that plane: "They'd have been better putting that money into Darren Fletcher's charity."

Can't argue with that.

The plane thing is fine, if a little petulant but the people who paid for it are probably at the game today and that makes no sense. United nowadays are no different to any other big company, money talks. Moyes wont get the sack until United's share price starts to take a hit imo.

Its taken a huge hit.

Moyes has wiped about £600m off the price of the club.

And Moyes reply is cringey about the plane.

I understand the reasoning behind it, the sentiments, but it's still embarrassing.

Moyes out before the teams walk out, the majority of the fans applaud him.

All that money spent on the plane, all it's done is increase the support of Moyes from the fans.

Backfired.
