It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Sorry, I'm sure there is probably a topic somewhere already about this, but anyways.
I downloaded the face pack and then went to extract it, but both the unarchiver and another program both said it couldn't extract the file. Does anyone know this is?

a few months ago i downloaded 6.00 all 14 parts
i also downloaded 6.01, 6.02 6.03, 6.04 changes.....
do i have to do 6.05 now
or must i download all parts of 6.05 ???

If you have megapack 6.0, you should start downloading from updates 6.1 onwards. Also, remember that you should have one fodler and one folder only with ALL the images in it, i.e. update packs should not be in separate folders.
If what I'm saying isn't really clear, then please upload a screenshots of your megapack folder so I can further explain things for you

Sorry for missing this but you posted immediately before I replied to another post in the other thread and so I missed it.
With every update pack released, you just need to download the files for that pack and not the whole thing. Hope this helps.

Jut change your preferences so the game knows where to look for its graphics.

I've never had this issue downloading anything off this website before. I can download torrents from elsewhere at 7mb/s which makes this issue very frustrating. My friend downloaded the megapack the other while he was at my house and connected to my internet, it only took him half an hour. Mine is projected to finish in 1 day and 2 hours.

I have the megapacks all up to date, downloading each update individually and then merging them and they worked fine
However, I copied all the face images of Hibs players from my 2013 megapack (the megapack for last game was updated with this years Hibs squad photos) and pasted them in the 2014 megapack, updating the config as I went along.
However, when I loaded the game up, most of the people who had faces now have the generic blank face and there are people (non-Hibs players) who used to have generic blank faces that now have their actual face.
I'm not sure what is causing it. I cut the megapack for 2013 and stuck it on a pen drive as I thought it might have been causing a conflict but there's been no change.
I'm all out of ideas, reloaded the skin a bunch of times & restarted the game a few times as well but no change at all

I think I may have stopped the megapack from working, so the game is showing the default faces it came with, all the Sky Bet leagues & Skrill leagues have players faces whilst the Premier League doesn't.

Edit: I'm able to restore the faces megapack I deleted from my FM 2013 folder (there's over 125k images in it), would it work if I copy & paste it into my FM 2014 graphics folder then download all the update packs?
