That's not exactly fair, is it? I don't understand why Arsenal aren't getting more tickets as they'll easily sell their allocation.

25,000 tickets go on sale don't they?

Then the club gets more?

I think how it works is the clubs get 25,000 each they give 20,000 to the 'football family' which if unsold are given back and redistro'd to the clubs and then 17,000 to Club Wembley holders.

Both sides should receive the same allocation. I'm sure Hull will have little problem selling theirs.

We have 40,000 season ticket holders and 150,000 paying members, its bollocks. We're screening it at the Emirates stadium now anyway because of it.

So what should they do? Make Wembley bigger? Stick a few seats on the arch maybe?

Great idea's there...

Maybe just allocate more in the first place like the semi finals, or is that a little over the top for you?

They have obligations for the final that they presumably do not have for the semis.

You also had a 42k allocation for the semi because Wigan indicated they couldn't fill their share and only had 22k themselves. Its a final in a neutral venue so that mismatch shouldn't be allowed for the final.

I'm pretty sure the clubs, charities, volunteers seats have been a part of it forever and if my experience is anything to go by the majority of those will end up in the hands of fans anyway.

http://metro.co.uk/2014/02/20/everton-anger-over-reduced-ticket-allocation-for-arsenal-fa-cup-quarter-final-4311283/

Everton have become the latest club to be angered by Arsenal’s decision to give them reduced tickets for their FA Cup tie at the Emirates Stadium.

The Toffees receive a reduced allocation of just 5,186 tickets when they travel to London to face challenge the Gunners for a place in the semi-finals.

Blues officials have told the Liverpool Echo the decision was made by Arsenal based on safety fears sparked by pyrotechnics and persistent standing.Everton had demanded the full 15 per cent allocation for the last eight duel on March 8 but just like Tottenham and Liverpool before them, their pleas have been ignored.

Arsenal’s Safety Advisory Group, consisting of representatives from the club, local authority, police and transport claims that the number must be reduced from 9,000.

The safety group says it is due to fears over safety issues from persistent standing and the use of smoke bombs and pyrotechnics in the upper tiers of the ground.

Everton raised objections with both the Football Association and Arsenal but the advisory group had the final decision.

Arsenal can go suck a dick tbh.

I agree some should go to charities etc, but 25,000 per club out of a 90,000 seater stadium is far too low imo.

Fuck safety at football stadiums, great timing too...

So nervous. 5pm is so far away. Really have no idea how it's going to go down.

The fact that we beat them 2-0 and 3-0 this season makes me more nervous for some reason.

I think I actually want Arsenal to win today. Not sure why, though.

Nice to hear - almost every neutral wants us to lose horribly.

Normally so would I but I just can't quite bring myself to support Hull. Or Steve Bruce, to be honest.

That's the logo of the old Wembley, right?

Better than the current one, at least.

£29-a-month contract and my cash goes to sponsoring Wembley and the continuing collapse of Kevin Bacon's film career instead a of a half-decent signal.

In terms of predictions, Hull winning would be a very big surprise and an on display from Ramsey, Ozil, Giroud et all should mean a comfortable win. But then again, the notion of Wigan beating Man City in this tournament last year was equally dismissed before kick-off, so who knows.
