I have the same problem to download the mega face package. Is it possible to download it with JDownloader for example? Firefox tells me that he will need 12 hours....

1) When it first starts it often says it will take longer than it actually will as it starts to speed up.
2) At 1.5 Mbps it will take about 10 hours, so it's difficult to say if there's a problem unless I know your download speed.

The fact is that it's simply a very, very large file and will tend to take that long.

Currently having the same issues, trying to download the megaface pack.

Currently downloading at 235kb/s but when performing speed test, I am at 120mb/s download speed.

I too am a premium member, any advice?

Use the Torrent option, will always be much much quicker.

As I have the basic packs, I normally download only the updates. But that is currently not working very well, with downloads stopping after a 10-15% download, and it does not allow restart. Never had this problem before.

Strange nobody else is reporting this problem. What operating system and browser are you using?

Agree - but somebody has to be the first :-). Perhaps most People download the full package these days....

It is a DELL Precision, with operating system windows 10, and a outlook/internet explorer browser. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the virus protection/firewall, but the Macafee seems to work as it should do. It does not break other downloads, like a 745 MB Panini facepack.

Can you try a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Opera?

You might also want to try Internet Explorer in no add ons mode to see if any add ons are interfering.

In Windows 7 it was located here: "Open Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)"

No idea about Windows 10 i'm afraid.

Thanks for your assistance, Rob! I have yet to succeed though, but will try a different computer with windows 7 - might make it then. Interestingly, it actually stops when 275kb has been downloaded - precisely. So something then happens that break the connection.

Ah you didn't say that originally that will be significant. Although 275kb is incredibly small. Can you download other things from the site such as the kits? Or is it all files within sortitoutsi.net?

Yeah, well, I was just looking at the downloading summary, where it shows how much percentage-wise has been downloaded. And it seemed to always stop somewhere between 10-15%. However, when I went to the target folder where the packs were supposed to download to, it only showed that 275 or 276k had actually been downloaded.

Have not had any problems with kits or logos - all download as normal. Tried the other facepacks: exclusive 16.1 and 16.2 - both stopped at 84kb, DF11 August update and DF11 September - both stopped at 95kb. Now, while the downloads are still running, the downloaded volume shows as you would expect from the percentages you see, but as soon as it stops, only 275 kb appears as actually downloaded. I must admit I scratch my head about this....

Did you try a different browser or IE in no add ons mode?

I definitely think this is unique to you i'm certainly having no issues and no other reported issues.

I know it sounds stupid but is your laptop definitely not going to sleep and stopping the downloads or something like that?

You are probably right... I will try from another computer, that also has a different browser. And it is definitely not going to sleep with me watching like a hawk what's happening...... But thanks for all your kind assistance!

Hi,

The download speed is way too slow. (Cut Out Player Faces Megapack)

I have a quite good connection and the max speed i can get is only 150 kb/s.

EDIT: Ok it's 2 am and I finally dl to 2 mb/s.

EDIT 2 : I find it a shame the low speed dl! There I dl pack logo to an average of 50 kb/s ! Not really nice especially after paying £ 10.
