It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I have version 6.0 installed. There seems to be a problem where it is not showing certain Dutch players (eg kevin strootman) both in National and Club view.
Funny thing is, for Robin Van Persie, when i view him via National team, his image doesnt show, but when i view him via Club View, his image shows.
Anyone faced this problem?

Even went into config to have a look and his id is mapped nicely to the image.

Secondly, I'd like to see within the edt and lnc folders. I just want to make sure that there aren't any extra files which might affect the displaying or otherwise of images.

lol your computer will not blow up 3g is only your ram size, what is the size of your hard drive. Im sure its bigger than 6 gig, mines is 2 time 500 gb so i have 1 tera bite of memory so 6 gig will barely even make a mark on my hard drive, i also have 8 gb memory ram which basically just makes your machine work better, so now do you understand

As scottpratt has explained, there is a difference between the size of your memory (or RAM) and the size of your hard drive. The RAM regulates how quickly your laptop can run (and is generally anywhere between 1-8gb), while the size of your hard drive measures how much stuff you can fit on your laptop (generally anywhere between 200gb - 1 terabyte).

So in my documents I have two "Sports Interactive" folders. They both have FM14 subfolders. There is more stuff in one then there is in the other, but I cant find my save games in either.
I wonder if this related with the problem I have in that the Megapack face images do not load in to the game.
What should I check or do?

Your save game should be in a folder named games within either of the 2 Sports Interactive folders. The graphics folder to contain this megapack and all other graphical content should be created within this path.

but when i go ingame, although i uncheck skin cache and check skin reload the facepack is not working. I tried changing folders or renaming them etc etc. but still nothinh works. However the logo pack in the same folder (graphics) is working without anyproblems..

I'm playing FM14 for two months now and I'm trying to load the player faces into FM14.
I tried check and unchecking all stuff for the cache, skin reloading etc. and nothing works (Preferences -> Interface -> Reload skin)
The MEGAPACK is in here D:\graphics\faces\MEGAPACK 6.0 and I have a symbolic link to it from C:\Users\florianwallburg\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014. Also the logos I downloaded don't work. I tried several approaches I read across the different forums but didn't get it to work. Has someone an idea?
Win 7 64bit, Downloaded FM14 via Steam.

I've moved your post to this thread, which is where it should have been put in the first place.
I have no idea what a symbolic link is, but any custom graphics (faces, logos etc) MUST be within Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2014 > graphics. Otherwise, the game won't "find" them.

Each update is standalone and does not contain the previous packs' images, so you need to download all previous packs and apply them in chronological order

If you download each subsequent update pack, the file will include a config.xml which is valid for the whole megapack up till then, and not just for that particular update pack.
If you can't do that for whatever reason, just download fmXML and generate a config file yourself
