It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

When trying to download from the mirrors, both link to a download file which ends with the extension .rar.exe
Is this normal?
Mt virus scanner doesn't like it and I certainly won't double click on an exe file

Keep in mind that whenever you add update packs, you're supposed to copy the contents of the download file and not the folder itself. You should therefore, when all is said and done, have one folder (and one folder only) with all the images in it + the config file, and NOT separate folders with each update pack contained within.

The file won't extract unless you have all the parts downloaded. You can always download the torrent file if you can't wait...

I don't know if it is already writen somewhere here on forum - if i have complete previous pack (version 6 for fm2014 with all updates), i need only 7.0-7.2 updates to make it actual, or i'm supposed to download new version of megapack 7.0?

If you are sure you have version and all the updates, then you only need to download 7.0 to 7.2 to be up-to-date

That's strange - are you sure the extension is pdf? Or do you have your extensions set up in a manner in which rar files are opened with Adobe PDF Reader?
If you haven't already, please download winrar and use it to extract the file you've downloaded. If that still doesn't work, I'd appreciate having a screenshot of the properties of the file you've downloaded so I can see what's wrong with it.

Fixed it. I believe the the issue is that winzip cannot support OS X Yosemite. Apples App store have an application called the Unarchiver, there's also a legacy version which may work better, both are free. If anyone else had an issue like me please pass this on.
also no idea why it comes up on my file as 7.53 but i did the direct download rather than torrent

I am obviously doing something very simple, wrong but I cannot seem to extract the Cut Out Player Pics mega pack into the correct folder?
When I download the file, I am greeted with 3 files. See below:
1) - Faces
2) - Visit Sortitout (hyperlink)
3 - Readme file
So i highlight the Faces folder and extract to the following - see attached image.
When i pressed OK, it didn't ask me if OK to overwrite previous etc. Then when fully extracted, I load FM and go to the preferences to tick and untick the correct options. Still, nothing!
I am generally very computer literate so please, no one to tell me how useless i am! Thanks for your help guys.

I'm having trouble with the mega pack 7.0
i have downloaded it complete. i have 154,000 ish images but not all images are showing in game.
i had the mega pack 5 previously and work fine but i wanted more player faces hence why i deleted 5.0 and downloaded 7.0.
I have a mac and extracted the file to fm15/graphics/faces. i the got the update packs 7.0/7.1/7.2 and dragged the files into the mega pack 7.0 (in order) and replaced the old files.
i then load up the images on fm but only a few are there?? e.g mata and de gea at utd have there pics but clyne and ward prowse at southampton don't.
i have been on the editor and found the unique id, then scrolled through the mega pack and the missing images are there, just not in the game.
does any know a fix for this please??

Can you please confirm, ideally with a screenshot, that the only contents of the faces folder is 154,000+ images and a config.xml file?
Have you also changed the in-game preferences as per the screenshot in the OP please?
Are you sure you haven't downloaded the icons megapack by mistake? If not, could you please upload screenshots and/or give us UIDs of players whose cutout is blurry?
Can you confirm that all 154,000+ images are in one folder and that there are no other folders within the main megapack folder? Perhaps you could upload a screenshot to confirm...
Also, are the in-game preferences set up as per the screenshot in the OP please?
