Its 3 years to the day that Cisse scored that wonder-volley at Chelsea that defied the laws of physics. Its probably not out of the question that there's a lot of fans for whom that was the least time they were that excited about the whole thing.

Fuck me is he that delusional? 9 points from 15 league games and 12 defeats in all competitions (before this inevitable latest one) is a sign that he isn't qualified to lead an U15's team, nevermind a Premier League troupe.

There's a claim on Twitter that Carver is done after fighting a player on the team bus.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was true but its Twitter. It always makes me a little sad when these rumours appear on there but don't happen.

Amazing that Newcastle are still talking about the summer rebuild - The club haven't won since Carver made it clear that they were getting rid of the players that weren't good enough.

If McClaren has turned down the job as he's worried about relegation, I hope Newcastle never consider giving him the job again. I hope Ashley uses his massive personal wealth to harass and annoy McClaren. I hope he buys all property surrounding McClaren's house and invites homeless drug addicts to squat there.

Mail reporting that Carver offered to step down but Steve McClaren said no, so he's being kept on, while the players had their own crisis meeting with none of the coaching staff invited.

Wouldn't surprise me if all of those farcical-sounding details were true tbh.

Was quite clear Pardew wasn't up to leading this team forward and should have gone at the end of last year when we failed in the 'race for eighth'

Instead we were allowed to stagnate, didn't replace players properly and yes were unlucky with injuries and ended up in the same position in January.

Where we inexplicably sold some of our better players, didn't replace them at all and appointed the equivalent of a gorilla to our management position.

Quite surprising we're not bottom, tbh.
