Hi Folks,

I am proud to release my new and improved Default Kits Pack (now with bending body lines - new from 04/02/15)

This includes SS style fronts and backs (used on the tactics screen), LS style goalkeeper backs (used on the tactics screen) and a set of narrower numbers (to fit the SS style backs).

These use a new and improved "effect" layer which looks much better on-screen

There are three versions of the fronts included:-
1. Plain
2. With neck hole
3. With neck hole and badges (used in the screenies)

Fidney's FM Default Kit Pack v2

Installation Instructions for WINDOWS ONLY (for other Operating Systems I suggest you extract the archive in a separate location and manually copy to the destination directories).

CARE - these instructions will REPLACE any existing files of the same name in the destination directory. There SHOULD be no effect on any other files in those directories - they should not be replaced or deleted.
However, for the sake of safety I strongly recommend that you back-up any files you have before following these instructions, so that you can replace them if something goes wrong.

1. Place Default Kit Pack v2.rar in the directory:-

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015

2. Extract the archive - this will create the necessary directory structure if not already there.
3. If you get the message that the file already exists and do you want to replace, select "Yes to all".
4. Once unzipped the "active" default kits will be in the following directory:-

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Football Manager\My Graphics\Kits\Default Kits\graphics\pictures\kits\2d\outfield\front\default

If you don't change anything these will be the version with neck hole and badges (used in the above screenies).
If you don't like these, then inside the same directory you will find 3 sub-directories containing the 3 styles - simply COPY the entire contents of the sub-directory containing your preferred style and then paste them into the default directory which will replace everything except the config.

Alternatively you can install them wherever you prefer - the outfield fronts and backs should work fine anywhere within the usual folders BUT the goalkeeper backs and the narrower numbers will ONLY work if they are placed in the following locations:-

...\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\graphics\pictures\kits\2d\goalkeeper\back
...\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\graphics\pictures\kits\2d\numbers\default

AND these are case specific - for example if you have Kits instead of kits then they will not work.

Sounds good. Do I just bin all my current defaults and replace with this?

If you are using a another custom version of the defaults then you will need to delete them, but if you are using the default defaults (the ones SI built into the game) then you don't need to delete anything and you only need to put these in the location specified for the game to use them instead of SI's.

I'm really impressed with this pack! I just have one request. Can't you make bended body lines? Like people do on SS kits?

Example with your kit on the left, and QPR's kit on the right:

I just tried to make how i think its supposed to look with bended body lines.

Since downloading this new default kits, the player numbers seems to big when it´s double figures, ex:87, 54 and so on....Any one else noticed?

The pack also includes a set of narrower numbers for precisely this reason. Have you applied the whole pack or just the default kits themselves?

The numbers should be in the following directory:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\graphics\pictures\kits\2d\numbers\default

Hi i know this is a old thread but i started installing ss kits to my fm 2016 and i am getting standard kit ghost kit kits behind these ss default kits, google only tells me some stuff from 2008 with links to fix it but all links are broken, what do i do?

this is for FM15 tho...i have PM Fidney about SS default kits for FM16....still wait to hear from him tho.

I use the version 1 without neck and badges but the badges still appear and they are not on the right place. they are an the left chest but a bit too down
