I'm hoping that'll be addressed before pre season begins, I've found it quite difficult to find out to be honest.


Just made my first signing since taking over Preston but it's not a goalkeeper. Central midfielder Liam Walsh has joined the club on a free transfer following his release from Championship side Nottingham Forest and I expect him to be first choice in the centre of the park.

It's taken longer than I anticipated but I'm delighted to announce that I've finally brought a goalkeeper to Deepdale as Dean Henderson has joined the club from Championship side Millwall. The twenty four year old had loan deals at League One clubs Barnsley and Rotherham last season. Fully expect Henderson to be first choice this season for the club as we look to win promotion.

Jon Grant has joined the club on a season long loan from Brentford, we also had him on loan at Cowdenbeath last season.

Yes it's another loan signing but one I'm delighted to have got as Adam Phillips joins the club on loan from Bristol City for the entire season. He can play in two positions and I'm hoping he'll be a success at Deepdale during his loan deal.

Slow enough start to the league season, drawing one apiece at home to Scunthorpe. James Hood rescuing us a point after fifty nine minutes. We tried our best to find a winner but it just wouldn't arrive.

Got completely battered in the League Cup first round trip to Leicester, should be 'thankful' we only lost 2-0.

Had to come from behind to seal maximum points away to Stockport County - Lee Martin, James Hood and Adam Phillips on target.

Lee Martin's thirty ninth minute goal has given us a single goal win over Burton and our first win at Deepdale.

Poor performance away to Wimbledon, somehow we managed to return home with a point. Need to improve drastically.

Another poor performance but this time we got maximum points as James Hood's 63rd minute goal gave us a 1-0 win at home to Ebbsfleet as we climb up to third in League 2.

Completely collapsed in the second half in this trip to Colchester. We cannot score goals, only bagged six in our first six games.

We needed four second half goals as we beat bottom of the table Wrexham 4-1 at the Racecourse Ground in a game that'll be remembered by James Hood as we struck his first North End hat trick while an own goal from Charlie Olivier levelled the scores after Wrexham took the lead early on but we avoided an embarrassing result for the second week running.

Didn't even muster a shot on target at home to Barrow, finished 0-0 and was a forgettable game to end my spell.

So my three months with Preston is up and it hasn't been a bad start to the league campaign but of course it could've been better. Dan will takeover a club who are currently lying in fifth position, struggling to score goals and being a little inconsistent as well. Exeter currently lead the lead, two points clear of second placed Colchester.

My first competitive game in charge of Preston starts with a dominating show and a two one victory. We initially fell behind, a minute into the second half before Hood struck twice to bring us back and secure the win.

Out the Johnstone Paint trophy as we lost two nil against League One side Carlisle. Was always going to be a tough ask.

Just had no conviction inside the area as we lost out two one at home against Rochdale. Another goal for Hodd.

Good showing against Doncaster as we won 3-1 on the road. McGregor grabbed a brace whilst Hood added his tenth goal of the season after just fifteen appearances for us. A late goal conceded but we held on.

Back to back wins in the league following this seven goal thriller which we came out on top. Two goals for Kerr, one for Hood and one for Duckworth. We lead four one at one point, almost blowing it, but won four three.

Dull game, we dominated, twenty shots, sixty percent possession, couldn't hit the back of the net.

Just can't get a solid run going, poor defeat here.

We can't even beat non league Whitby for god sake! We need a replay. something we could of done without.

Coventry jump us as they beat us two nil at their home, we move to fourth place.

We're pretty shit at the moment, needing extra time to get pass Whitby Town in the replay!!

We overcome Southend United, at home winning two nil, a game we had to win or they'd close right up on us. Two goals in the opening ten minutes secured the win, Phillips and McGregor on the scoresheet.

A brace for centre back Tom Anderson secured a two nil win against struggling Hartlepool, his first two goals for the club.
