McManaman and Atsu in by the end of the window and maybe a centre mid.

We've had a good window by all accounts.

Looks like Tiote has failed his Galatasaray medical though.

Middlesbrough sign Callum Chambers on loan. Could be a good signing for them but what the hell are Arsenal letting him go for?

Mustafi is basically here so that's him, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gabriel and Holding for 2 CB slots.

Furthermore if Rob Holding - fresh off relegation to League One with Bolton - comes in and gets ahead of you in the pecking order you've not done well for yourself, so hopefully he can get something resembling respectable form at Boro.

Would've much preferred he went to Hull though, Phelan seems to have a hell of a way with a defence.

As for other NUFC lines, Atsu & McManaman have been linked as ins (probably a good thing we don't have John Carver anymore given he tried to throttle the latter in 2013), while Tiote has reportedly failed 2 medicals in Turkey.

So it seems the deal for Georges-Kevin N'Koudou from Marseille is finally about to be done. Been pictured in our training kit in our changing room and it looks real to me. We've been after him all summer but can't say I know anything about him though. Apparently we are after 2 more players before the window shuts which I'd guess is a CB and possibly an attack minded CM.

Being backup won't do him any good, he needs game time.

Still no conformation that Christian Atsu has joined on loan, yet.

But on a more positive note, that chancer Emmanuel Riviere has finally departed the club - joined Osasuna on loan. Cheick Tiote's move to Galatasaray has broken down after he apparently failed his medical but will probably still depart the club and Tottenham won't meet Newcastle's £30m outright for Moussa Sissoko, which is annoying as he needs to leave due to reportedly having no interest in playing in the Championship.

Adam Armstrong has gone out on loan to fellow Championship side, Barnsley until January.

Jeremy Menez has heard of him. When he made his Bordeaux debut, he had a chunk of his ear taken out by Ndong, accidentally.

Now it's Everton's turn to be in with 30 mil for Sissoko - where's Deano and Mikel when you need them?

In other news Marcos Alonso is confirmed for Chelsea, while Luiz is on his way with Cuadrado going back to Juve.
I'd laugh but if Conte can thrive with an Italian squad which included Giaccherini these two will be manageable.
