Have you ever had a really promising player, regen or not, who has been ruined to the point of him no longer being good enough, by injuries?

I've never had one myself, it'd be interesting to see how common/rare it is.

Well, I had one unfortunate case. Back when I was playing with Liverpool, I purchased Kuki and in like 2-3 months, he got a injury for half a season or something like that. The funny thing is, when he got back, he got another injury for 3 months and after that a 2 months one. It was pretty strange for me to the point I actually sent a message to SI support and the reply was: "Just bad luck ".

But after that, I rarely (or none at all) had another case like this so I guess it's based on your luck.

Don't think it is in the game and not really something I expect ever will be. Maybe have it available for regen players that come through but not for real life players, don't wanna jinx their actual careers!

I did have someone for a long time with a virus, was something around 13 months or more. Can't remember what game version that was though.

Ill always remember having Cavani up front for Liverpool on FM 2012 scoring bucket loads. He got a fractured skull and came back and scored hardly ever again. Seriously affected him
