It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

It's impossible that this issue is related to anything you may have done in-game, such as buying or selling players etc. So the issue must be somehow related to how and where you installed the files. Can you give me a screenshot of your MP folder? Ideally showing clearly (a) the amount of images in it, (b) the folder structure and (c) the folder path, please, so I can assess accordingly.

Maybe the problem is that there is no .config file? I don't know how I am missing it :/

The amount of images seems about good.
If there is no config file, no wonder the game cannot display the cuts - it's the file used to map the images to the correct player. De Ligt is probably in one of the teams licenced by SI, which is why he's displaying.
To get the config file, just download the latest update pack and put the config file in that folder you showed me. Should do the trick

That's a bit strange, I know of no issues with Wenger or Arsenal. Do you have any other facepacks loaded? Have you changed the preferences as per the OP of this thread? And finally, what other people aren't showing?

Managed to fix it now. Had some random images that did not appear. Like David Unsworth, Michael Mifsud and random managers.

Before I downloaded the 10.something mega pack I had older player faces but now I’ve deleted everything and downloaded the latest 9gb mega pack and nothing is showing up, I’ve cleared the cache and reloaded the skin a million time but only certain faces have appeared for example suso from milan is there but zlatan ibrahimovic isn’t

How many images do you have in your megapack faces folder? You should have 193,000+. Can I see a screenshot of your faces folder?
Also, have you changed your preferences as in the OP?

It says that there’s only 41,218 😩 I’ve downloded the full pack 9.07 gb

You need to change your preferences like this:
You seem to have downloaded the full megapack but it's not extracted fully from the compressed file which you've downloaded. Try extracting the pack with Winrar so that you get the full pack's images

Hopefully I've got everything, (note that on my first attempt last week I deleted the two additional files in the sortitoutsi folder that appears after extraction, but as it didnt work I have left them there this time around, don't know if this has any effect).

Can I see inside your faces folder as well? You should have 190,000+ images in a single folder, plus the config.xml file.
Also, remind me, what is your exact issue? Are all images not showing or just part of them?

My issue is that no faces are showing up in game.
Inside the kits and logos folders I actually see lots of little images of various kits/logos (and these are successfully applied in game), whereas when I open both the faces and iconfaces folders located in the sortitoutsi folder it is just white/blank as if there is nothing in there. I just presumed this was because there is so many items as when I have nothing but the 'sortitoutsi' folder on my external, a large amount of space is used so the data is in there somewhere?

There's only so much I can do without screenshots. Can you please give me screenshots of inside your faces folder as well? What is the size of that particular folder?
The large amount of data could be taken up by the logos and kits only, they could take up easily 4-5GB.

My bad, I had always opened the folder then exited pretty quickly, it was only when I had the folder open whilst taking pic did I realise there was some time for the loading of the pics inside, so here are the screenshots of inside the faces/iconfaces folders.
The faces folder is 9.77GB for 193,848 items, whereas the iconfaces folder is 286.8MB for the same no. of items.

I am having the exact same problem on a Mac (I can test it on Windows later today).
I have never had a problem with adding graphics (going back to 2009), but when I downloaded 10.02, trashed the contents of the "faces" folder I had been successfully using, unarchived the rar, and made the correct selections in the interface preferences to reload the skin, I don't get any of the faces. the size of each folder and the number of files from 10.02 seems to be correct and there is an config.xml file present.

I had already tried the three default skins, without any change.
The faces that came with the game (and game-generate faces) are still present, as are all of the logos, kits (2D and 3D), trophies and backgrounds I have been using...
I am currently starting a new save and using a different tool to unarchive the rar.
