For a third year running the beast that is the British Steel returns to the challenge section for all of you that want to challenge yourself within the British Isles.

So what is the challenge: You have to win every trophy from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in any order you want. However you must only use British and Irish players!

With no on conquering this challenge over the last two years its proved to not be as easy as some people assume and we welcome every challenger to try and be the first!

The challenge is made a little easier by counting promotion from finishing second in the league, or via the playoffs as the title but this is your choice. Any success in Europe or with the national teams are just an added note on your history but won't count towards this challenge.

Below is a screenshot and I will add everyone who takes part to the challenge leaderboard and add your story so people can follow it easily. Once you've won a trophy be it league or cup, I will need to see a screenshot for it to count.

Rules:
  • Only use British and Irish players
  • Must start with Sunday League Reputation
  • You may start at a club or start unemployed, your choice
  • You MUST send me a screenshot of each trophy won for it to count
Below is the list of playable trophy's within the game when you load all the home nations.(Downloaded competitions and expansions are not allowed)

England
Fa Trophy, Blue Square North/South, Blue Square Premiership, Johnson's Paint trophy, nPower League Two, nPower League One, nPower Championship, League Cup, Community Shield, FA Cup, Premiership

Scotland
Challenge Cup, Division 3, Division 2, Division 1, League Cup, FA Cup, Premier League

Ireland
Munster Senior cup, Division 1, League cup, Senior Challenge Cup, Premiership

Northern Ireland
Mid-Ulster Cup, Steel & Son's cup, Interim cup, County Antrim Shield, Division two, First division, League Cup, FA cup, Setanta Cup, Premiership

Wales
League Cup, FAW cup, Premiership

All the best to all the challengers....

Greetings from France.

I've decided to join the Challenge.

I've taken the easy way in by managing the Rangers as a start. More update to come as soon as I get a title !

I fancy joining in if thats ok. I need something different to try this year and think this is ideal. Probably start with Rangers in the 3rd Division in Scotland as that should win a few trophies there. Maybe not though as that's potentially taking the easy route to glory plus i'm a Celtic man.

Will update the leaderboard with you in Arca and linking it to your thread!

Would be nice to add you to Johnbhoy if your interested! Take any route you want, the challenge is undefeated and previous years many have started at the easy route of Wales and TNS so its all to play for to be the first!

I may start this when I get FM after my exams as it sounds interesting but I have one question, if I join a club with one game left in the season and they win the league/cup does it still count?

This was discussed last season, too, and the answer from Rick was "yes". You could win multiple titles in one season between different leagues, and they would all count.

Yes however a team are VERY VERY unlikely to sack a manager in the last league game if they are in with a shot for the title, maybe a little different if they had an awful season but in the cup final

Ah thats good then, if I am having a bad season I may have to look around, a manager could easily be poached by another club

I was just thinking a bigger club may come in for them but I doubt it

I just need to get these stupid exams over now
