It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Follow the steps outlined in this thread. As for the iconfaces, you'd need to resize the cutout to 18x18 then incresae the canvas size to 25x18, and also edit the iconfaces config along the same lines of the main config...

i just wondered if someone could help me with something really simple that i just cannot figure at the moment. I have downloaded the cut out megapack and put that into FM19 folder whcih then overwrites the faces that were already in the game. I'm wanting to keep these original faces and know there is a way to put them back in but after various attempts (and following Rowan's video on it) i'm still not getting it

Which part are you having trouble with? Are you not managing to extract the SI cuts? Or is it something else entirely?

If I understood you correctly, you copied the original SI faces into the Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2019 / graphics folder. You now have the cutout megapack and SI's cuts, right?
If this is the case, the game is only able to read one of these folders. You should only have one folder with all the cuts included in it. However, while our megapack uses the person's UID as the filename, the SI cuts have the person's name as the filename. What you need to do is use fmXML to translate file names to IDs in the folder(s) you want.
Alternatively, you could tell me which SI cuts from which team(s) you were referring to in particular and I'll have a look at them and see which can be included in our pack...

To add to what weeniehutjr said, when you have an issue like this, it may be an indicator there is a problem with your download and that further images may be missing from your megapack download. Just keep an eye on the amount of images in your megapack folder and see if it corresponds to the amount of images in the MP...

Looks like you've either download only the icons pack somehow or not installed the pack correctly. Which download method did you use and which megapack version did you download? How many images in total do you have in your megapack folder? Can you give me a screenshot of what it looks like in there?

I do also have English Club and League logos from steam. Possibly causing conflict? Going to try removing it.

That is much short of the full amount of images you should have in your megapack folder. I can't remember that far back, but it'll certainly be much more than 100,000 faces that you should have so you have a fair amount missing.
Which download method did you use and which megapack version did you download?

yes, it works with FM19 (and should be compatible with FM20,21 and so on as long as SI don't change how facepacks work)

To install an update pack, just put the contents of the faces folder from the download in your main megapack folder and the contents of the iconfaces folder in your main icons folder. If done right, you should get an overwrite warning, to which you should press yes/OK. If done right, you should have one folder and one folder only for each pack containing well over 213,000 cuts in each.
To check if the latest update pack is working in-game, this should be Pochettino's cut-out and this should be Luis Enrique's cut-out
