Frequently Asked Questions
If you're not a premium member, it is recommended that you download the base megapack via torrent by going to our cut-out megapack download page. After which, you should then download all the update packs released to date and apply them chronologically.
If you're a premium member, just download the most recent complete pack.
If you already have a version of our Cut-Out Faces Megapack installed, then click "Download Latest Changes" and you'll be presented with a list of all the updates we've released since you've last downloaded a file. Simply download any you might have missed, applying the oldest first and continuing to apply update packs in the chronological order in which they were released.
Contrary to previous versions of the game, there is no need to change any settings in the preferences in FM26.
If done correctly, you should be asked if you want to overwrite files – accept. You should have one folder for faces and another folder for iconfaces, and no sub-folder whatsoever in them.
These steps are to be repeated for every update pack downloaded, and they are to be installed chronologically.
Watch this YouTube tutorial video, which should you guide you on the steps you need to follow to install it. It might be for FM24, but the steps are exactly the same.
Otherwise, follow the steps in this comment and post the results so that we can assist you.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍
It is recommended that the user data location is not placed within the Steam installation folder as this may cause issues.
Torrent files need a torrent client to be downloaded. I personally use µTorrent but other common clients are BitTorrent, Vuze and Deluge. For those using torrents for the first time, here is a general walk-through on how to download torrents and a specific guide for µTorrent.
Be aware that it will take a substantial amount of time to download the file due to its sheer size and that other people depend on you hosting the file to get it so please leave your torrent client on after you have fully downloaded it. The etiquette is generally accepted to be to upload as much as you download, although this might not always be possible. The older the torrent file, the less likely it is that there will still be users seeding it.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.
Alternatively, you can download fmXML and generate a config yourself. There's a video on YouTube on how to use it but it's really easy and the instructions are quite straight-forward.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

Having used this opportunity to check, it seems that the folder structure for the 11.03 update pack was originally created in a slightly different manner than the usual. An extra folder (named 11.03) was generated in the faces folder, which meant that anybody who has downloaded this version of the 11.03 update pack and applied the files in the usual manner will see no cut-outs in-game other than those in 11.03. This issue was rectified reasonably quickly but it seems like you may have downloaded in the interim.
Do you have a folder named 11.03 within your faces folder? If yes, all you need to do is move all the 2,662 images and 1 config.xml file into the main faces folder, accepting the overwrite prompt

Sadly this isn't my issue

Can I see a screenshot inside your faces folder?

Use Winrar.
My blood is blue

Is there an error message displayed? It can be both a server issue at our end or an internet issue at your end. Whichever is the problem, if you try downloading the pack with Google Chrome, you should be able to resume any interrupted downloads

The megapack is both backward and forward compatible, so it should work just fine. However, you will be missing a fair few images from the latest versions, as well as many improvements.
To check what version of the megapack you have, open your megapack folder, find your config.xml file, right-click and select properties. The date modified should be the same (or maybe a day or two earlier) as the release date of the different update pack versions here. To be fully up-to-date, you would then need to download all the update packs released subsequent to that date.
To be honest, since you're a premium member, you might as well download the full 11.03 megapack
I'm afraid it's not technically possible to create packs from selected divisions or countries since images are not sorted. Doing so would entail them being selected manually, which isn't very practical at all.
Hope this answers your queries

Many thanks in advance for your help.

There was a small issue with 11.03 which meant that the file was actually released twice with a small handful of different files. Check the amount of files in the faces and iconfaces folders and check that each have a config file. If both folders have the exact same amount of files in each, then just use the more recent one
Emba
Which is the most recent one? Both files have the same name. One with the size 218 and the other one 219 mb?
mons
Do you have the config file in both faces and iconfaces folders?
Emba
Only one file is downloaded. Approx 25 min left on the other.
But in the downloaded file i can only see a config in "faces".
Calum Lewis
Appreciate your fast reply and help, thank you!
mons
Then you'll probably only need the one you're still downloading

I can't speak for other packs, but for our megapack you need to make sure that the contents of the faces and iconfaces folders in your download are placed within the faces and iconfaces folders of your megapack folder. If you do right, you should be prompted to overwrite existing files

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean.
Can you give me a screenshot of the issue?

I’ve downloaded the individual files onto my MacBook and extracted however I’ve extraced all of the files individually so I have 13 separate folders. Apologies if this has already been fixed elsewhere but I couldn’t find anything.
Is there any way to make this work without manually extracting/merging all of the files into one?(I’ve tried but it is taking a LOT of time!)
I’ve tried adding a config file into each individual folder but still no joy.
My internet is really slow so I would struggle to download the full torrent.
Thank you!
mons
Adding a config file to each individual folder should theoretically do the trick, as long as you change the interface preferences as per the screenshot in the OP.
The issue would come when you download update packs, as you would have to manually copy/paste the respective files into the correct folder. I would recommend having all the images in one folder anyway. It really shouldn't take that long to move images from folders which are in the same path.
How many images in total do you have across all the folders?
P.S. The good thing about the torrents is that they don't have to be downloaded in one go (in fact, they're designed not to be downloaded in one go!). So you can just leave it downloading overnight or whenever you're not using the internet, and it'll eventually get there. Up to you, naturally.

Thanks for your reply!
I attempted moving all of the files into a central folder last night but I only managed to move one of the folders worth of files (10k ish files) in about 4 hours! Whereas moving the entire folder takes a matter of seconds...
I’m not sure how many files in total but I have downloaded all files and all update files so I believe 200k+
Could the fact that I have the individual update folders within the same faces folder be causing the issue do you think?
Thanks
