It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

you need to provide a player UID.... my guess is that this is a player that have been edited in to Xavi Simons in one of the editor files you probably have added to your game

Have you downloaded all the update packs? Have you changed the preferences as displayed in the opening post?

Yep fully updated. The cut out was in the game previously, but two or three pack updates ago it suddenly dissapeared. I noticed it also happened with a Croatian youngster (forgot his name) with an ealier pack update as well, but was unsure if that was an error, but Sedwyn George i requested myself, so I know he had a correct cutout previously.

I checked the latest config file and he is included in it, so not sure what could be happening. I'll re-include it in 11.08 to make absolutely sure it's in the megapack to be safe.

Unsure what you mean, have not change folders or anything like that. I am using a skin, but all other cutouts seem to be loaded. I have trier to clear cache and reload skin.

Hmm, can you check within your MP folder to see if there is a file named 65033844? And perhaps open the config file with Notepad and look for that UID in there?

Why do you have 3 config files? You should only have 1 in the main faces folder and another in the config files folder. Where is the one dated December 2018 located?

Do you have a config file in there? A config file is what tells the game to display the faces in the correct place. If it's not there, the faces can't display.

I've followed all the instructions, but after I tried to open fmXML, the application wouldn't work as its saying that certain files aren't opening. I've tried reinstalling it, but it's still showing the same error message. What should I do?

How big is your folder containing the cuts? Can you send it over and I'll do the config file for you? Easier that way

It'll certainly take a wee while, but it shouldn't take that long. If you've got a lot of programs running, though, it may slow down the extraction process

Loving the facepack as always - just a quick question though.
If i wanted to use the image that comes with the game and not one that's in the facepack is it just a case of simply removing the config line for that player? - will the game then default back to what SI have?

I believe this is indeed the case. Do make sure the use skin cache box in preferences is unticked once you have done this, so that the game doesn't use the old cached version of the config file. After you've reloaded the skin (and verified it works

That is also possible, but since the best went offline some weeks back, it's probably easier just to remove the line from the config rather than faffing around with the Resource Archiver to get the cut-out
@oi_oi_ginger_roy, if you download each update pack as it's released, you will also need to re-delete the line(s) from the config file since it is updated in each update pack with the addition of the most recent cuts
