Frequently Asked Questions
If you're not a premium member, it is recommended that you download the base megapack via torrent by going to our cut-out megapack download page. After which, you should then download all the update packs released to date and apply them chronologically.
If you're a premium member, just download the most recent complete pack.
If you already have a version of our Cut-Out Faces Megapack installed, then click "Download Latest Changes" and you'll be presented with a list of all the updates we've released since you've last downloaded a file. Simply download any you might have missed, applying the oldest first and continuing to apply update packs in the chronological order in which they were released.
Contrary to previous versions of the game, there is no need to change any settings in the preferences in FM26.
If done correctly, you should be asked if you want to overwrite files – accept. You should have one folder for faces and another folder for iconfaces, and no sub-folder whatsoever in them.
These steps are to be repeated for every update pack downloaded, and they are to be installed chronologically.
Watch this YouTube tutorial video, which should you guide you on the steps you need to follow to install it. It might be for FM24, but the steps are exactly the same.
Otherwise, follow the steps in this comment and post the results so that we can assist you.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍
It is recommended that the user data location is not placed within the Steam installation folder as this may cause issues.
Torrent files need a torrent client to be downloaded. I personally use µTorrent but other common clients are BitTorrent, Vuze and Deluge. For those using torrents for the first time, here is a general walk-through on how to download torrents and a specific guide for µTorrent.
Be aware that it will take a substantial amount of time to download the file due to its sheer size and that other people depend on you hosting the file to get it so please leave your torrent client on after you have fully downloaded it. The etiquette is generally accepted to be to upload as much as you download, although this might not always be possible. The older the torrent file, the less likely it is that there will still be users seeding it.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.
Alternatively, you can download fmXML and generate a config yourself. There's a video on YouTube on how to use it but it's really easy and the instructions are quite straight-forward.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

Please read this post as to why it is not as easy to do it as you may think.
You can run multiple facepacks concurrently by having them in separate folders, but you need to make sure that the same image is in one folder only and no more (i.e. in your case, you need to have all the Premier League cuts in one folder with a config just for them, and any others in a separate folder.)

I've done dozens at a time, and only rarely got interrupted by a Captcha prompt. You can't request them in a bunch, though. Have you tried uploading them individually?

I'll give it a go - cheers

...graphics\faces\sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_12.00\sortitoutsi\faces folder & icon faces folder
and
...graphics\faces\sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_12.00_changes\sortitoutsi\faces folder & icon faces folder
My question is, will this work? I am not sure if I need the sub-folders that were extracted to ...graphics\faces...OR do I have to manually copy the face folder and icon folder files into a separate faces folder which would overwrite the xml file in both? I hope I explained this right.

Tom

Since this seems to be related to this megapack, I've moved this to here
First of all, if you've got the whole 12.0 megapack, you do not need to have the 12.0 changes pack. The latter is there for people who kept up-to-date with previous packs and just need to download the interim pack
Secondly, when you download update packs, you shouldn't have them in a separate folder, but they should go in the main megapack folder, accepting the overwrite prompt when doing so. You should have one folder, and one folder only, with everything in it.
Thirdly, as long as it's within <your user data folder> \ graphics, then the game will read it and it should be seen in-game. I have everything in separate folders according to graphics category (i.e. separate folders for kits, logos and faces), but that's just to keep things organised. Also make sure that the preferences are as displayed in the opening post of this thread.
Hope this helps

Hmm, I still reckon there's something wrong with how and where you've installed the graphics. Can I see screenshots of what you've downloaded and where you've placed them?
Also, can I see a screenshot of the steam bit changing the user data location to be sure you've changed it right?

Everything appears to be installed in the right place, but the below needs to be fixed:
Follow the steps in this thread to see the correct stuff to paste in that box

Again, thanks for your outstanding help!

Thought that might do the trick
For the Juventus/Zebra fix, the files need to be in place BEFORE starting a new game. Is this the case in your game? If you started a new game with the fix in place and it didn't work, you probably haven't installed it 100% right. Make sure the path for the editor data files in <your user data folder > \ editor data and everything is directly in there, i.e. no sub-folders

You place the downloaded files into your megapack folder. If you do it right, you should be asked if you want to overwrite - say yes. You should have one folder, and one folder only, for the faces, and another one for the icons; no sub-folders.

Do you mean for the cut-outs to be larger in your skin? You need to either download a skin which supports such a larger display of the face, or to change the panel for the player faces yourself.
There is a screenshot in the first post of how the preferences should look like in-game. If that doesn't work, can I have screenshots of the location you've placed the megapack in please?
JDubsNZ
figured it out - i had to change the skin to FM Touch for the changes to take place. Thank you for the reply though!
Johnny_05
Yes, in previous FM was possible for the cut-outs to be larger, and sometimes just need to put a file in the game.
I like the default dark skin, but cut-out in that skin are too small.
Thanks in advance

I have downloaded the megapack but I don't have the config file. I would redownload the megapack if I could but that'd take a day if not two. Could someone upload it somewhere for me please?
mons
I don't have the version for 12.0 right now, I'm afraid. You can either generate one yourself with fmXML or download the latest update pack and use just the config from there
kilombos
I have the full facepack (235296 faces) but in the game there are many players who do not show me their picture, but IF this in the folder player (correct config)
Someone knows why it can be? or I put it all down again from scratch?
More thanks

It'd help if you were a bit more specific. Can you mention 2 or 3 players who are in your megapack folder but don't appear in the game?
Can I also have a screenshot of the contents of your megapack folder?

The fact you're getting an empty space where the face should indicates that you have another config file with those UIDs somewhere within your user data folder. This config is in a folder which doesn't contain those UIDs. Maybe it's a folder of an old update pack, or it's one you created yourself. Find it, remove it, reload your skin cache and they'll appear in your game

The change in folder location is the only difference. Did you change the preferences in-game? If yes, can you upload a screenshot of the graphics folder?
