It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

It looks like it may be an issue with your internet connection, I'm afraid. It's downloading at 5MB/sec here and we haven't had any other users mentioning this particular issue yet. Are other files you're trying to download suffering from the same issue? May be worth restarting your modem/router and see how it goes, or downloading it later. If that still doesn't solve it, you could try downloading the torrent file...

I'd have liked a screenshot of the lower part of the faces folder sorted by alphabetical order just to confirm the file did indeed download fully. Are there over 235,000 cuts in the faces folder?

As suspected, the file didn't download fully. There are only 141,000 images, when there should be 94,000 more (plus the config). Best to redownload it again.

You can make all the cuts you want. Just resize/crop the pic to 500x500 pixels maximum before upload. Even if you upload a bigger picture, you can dowload a preview instead the full image

What files do you have? If you have download update packs 11.01 - 11.14 and update packs 12.0 and 12.01, then all you need to do is put them into the faces folder in chronological order, accepting overwrite when prompted.

I just searched him in my facepack folder and found both his photo and a line matching his ID number in the config. It's possible that I haven't yet clicked his profile in FM 2020 while playing the game, but there's no reason why his picture should not appear...
(I'm using the latest megapack by the way.)

Ah yes, now that I pay a bit more attention it appears that the file you've downloaded is just over 10GB in size. The 12.00 file (and you can now download the updated 12.01 file too if you want) should be over 13GB plus. It looks like your download wasn't completed, and you'll need to download it again.

My bad, I was using the 12.0 Megapack. I hadn't noticed the 12.01 update pack was out. So that must be why he looks okay for me. If it helps, his UID is 85028014 and the line you need in the config.xml file is:
