Board blocks all transfers

I am playing as Porto. One of my club's visions (which I can NOT change) is "Sign players from domestic rivals" I tried asking for new contract and was NOT allowed to remove that vision.

When I try to sign a player the board blocks it saying "The board feels the club has not signed enough players from domestic rivals".

Porto, Benfica and Sporting do NOT sign players from each other (except the occasional free transfer). And any decent player is way too expensive. This is why these 3 teams buy cheap players from South America.

I feel like the game is broken for me.

What do I do???

I believe IIRC that even editing those club vision options in the editor has no effect

but you could try it and see what happens, but SI have to resolve it or whats the point

I felt some clubs had very over-ambitious visions during Beta. Kept me from starting a save with many sides because I felt I'd be unfairly judged and couldn't hold down the job, barring a miracle. When my relegation-threatened club want pretty football, possession-style play and a playoff spot finish - minimum - I don't feel like I'm at the helm at the underdog team that I should be.

Let's hope those issues - or those "quirky phenomena" are in the past now that the full version is out.
