It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

What do you mean by "all in game faces"? Can you give me an example?

The default faces - that already are in the game. As soon as i put the cut out player faces folder in graphics, all of the default faces disappeared.

I don't know the cause of your issue but a solution is to use the FM20 Resource Archiver (you can find it in your Steam Library under "Tools" in the Games dropdown) to extract the default faces from the game, and save them on your computer. They're all sorted by nation and team, with each team having their own config file, so if you just put the SI faces in a new folder in your existing megapack folder then all should be okay.

I put the extracted files in the megapack folder, but it didn't work. All default faces are blank. So I'm afraid it doesn't work.

The only way to be sure they'd work is to rename the files you've extracted to UIDs instead of player names, then place them into the megapack folder, overwriting when prompted. When you see the work that takes, you'll see why we don't do it ourselves

If you download the 12.0 torrent plus the 12.01 update pack, you'll be fine.
If you want to use this pack in conjunction with other files, I suggest keeping the different styles in separate folders. As long as you ensure that there are no overlaps between folders and that the configs are up-to-date, then you can have them all working at the same time. I have 5 other styles of player pictures filling in the gaps where this pack doesn't reach, for instance
If you don't know how to edit your config files, then read this thread. I strongly recommend backing up your original config in case you mess up

Also, a couple of times during the extraction a message popped up saying there were duplicates and did I want to overwrite the duplicate files - is that normal too?

File size looks great. Where you extracting the file to? That's definitely not normal - but it depends on what you're running in the background, the speed of your computer and many other factors. It could also be a false estimate in that it starts of slowly and then quickens on. That's said, it's not a 2-minute job (but it shouldn't be taking 108 hours either!!)

Ive had some issues since the update today.
I deleted my megapack and tried to re-download. As I get to around 70% I get an error message stating that the download has been interrupted, when I click resume, it finishes the download but its incomplete and will not allow me to extract. Any advice please? Thanks.
