When starting a new game, you can choose the starting database (20.0) to start your save game with the data as when the game was released in November

You want the game not to have a January 2020 transfer window? That's not possible, I'm afraid.

Yeah exactly. I want these newly updated squads to be untouched for the season to increase realism!

Perhaps it should be how do I keep real squads for 19/20 season?
if you want to keep all squads as is for whole of 19/20 season either put a transfer embargo in place for all clubs and play out the season
or use a custom start date with/without real fixtures/results and start at the end of may 2020 so the 19/20 season is done with current squads
