It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

You can add them yourself using the editor. Here's not the right place to go into more detail, but you can find plenty of guides online on how to use the pregame editor, it's quite basic.

Not sure what list you're referring to, let alone the second link on it or which skin you mean? What I can tell you is that while faces and logos can be carried across from one version of the game to another, skins aren't as transferable so you'll need an FM17 specific skin.

As you're a premium member, you just need to download the latest full version, 12.12.
There are installation instructions within the file; follow them and you'll be fine.

can anyone help... I've noticed some faces that won't load in game such as 28121564 and 83228802 just for example.
Ive re-downloaded their images from the web too and overwritten the sortitout file in player faces folder with the new png file with the same unique id and still the image wont load
does anyone have any thoughts?

Looks like you either don't have the complete megapack or you haven't installed it correctly.
Can I have a screenshot of the inside of your faces folder? How many images in total do you have in there? For those 2 players, what do you get in-game - is it a blank space or the default black silhouette?

Hi again I have now discovered that the reason I can't get it to work on my device is because I have only have 26g memory of which I have 18 left as this is for touch on amdroid so therefor downloading the pack is fine but then extracting it duplicates it and I don't have the memory for that so my question now is I have plenty space on my phone which I can download and extract it no problem but do you k ow any way for me to transfer from my phone to my tablet as I will have space for it that way?

Yeah I unerstand why you'd think that but it's all there. Installed correctly and pretty much every other face loads as far as I've noticed. The file size and format for those two are the same as all the others. Doen't make any sense. Their image is there in the folder along with all the others but in game just the black default silhouette displays...?
