It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

At my end, I was able to download the full cut-out megapack alongside multiple individual facepacks without any issues. I'm genuinely not sure what the matter can be, or how I can help you for now

I think it has something to do with the config file but I dont know what I'm supposed to do.
The main player missing is joao cancelo but there are plenty u19 players missing even though their faces are in the folder.

How many images do you have in your megapack folder? Which version of the megapack did you download? What is the date modified of the config.xml file?

I Downloaded the full pack on 19-9-20 so it should be the latest version, the config.xml file was modified on 28-10-19 and there are 552.526 files in the faces and iconfaces folders

You're somehow using the wrong config file, the one released with the 12.0 base pack. What download method did you use?
Download the latest update pack, and replace your current config files (faces and iconfaces) with the one from the download.

I just downloaded the full pack from uploaded.net and extracted it , I dont know how that happened. And thanks in advance for your help and quick response

You can download the torrent file, and follow it up with the update packs. Or wait for the 13.0 torrent at some point next month.

I can at max download a single part at 60kbps speed, which normally must be at least 1200kbps with my connection. And there is a cooldown in between all the downloads while there are more than 16 parts out there to download. It feels impossible to download them all, i hope that 13.0 will arrive soon.

Like I said, you can download the existing 12.0 torrent which contains a solid base with 235,000+ cut-outs, and then you can download the 17 (soon to be 18) update packs separately afterwards. It's just a question of whether you're patient enough.
Understandably, we don't have control of download speeds from sites external to us, so there's not much more we can do there.

There is a screenshot in the opening post of this thread, for future reference.
You can run multiple facepacks at the same time without any issues (in fact I do so), but they must be in separate folders, each folder with its separate config You must also remember, however, that if there are multiple images for the same person in the graphics folder, the game will only display the one in the first folder by alphabetical order.
In this case, if there are photos of the same person in each folder, the game will only display the one in the cut-outs folder. If there isn't one in the cut-outs folder, it will display the one in the DF11 folder. And so on and so forth.
I remove duplicate files anyway to save space (and because I'm a bit pedantic like that), but it's not necessary, if you keep the above in mind.

As far as I'm aware, FM resizes them to fit. Not sure if that's the case for FMM, though.

If yes, and it's still not working, can we have a screenshot of your faces folder, showing clearly the path as well? Additionally, is there also a folder titled games in C:\Users\[user]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020?

For the purpose of all the update packs, since they're also packaged within a folder called 'sortitoutsi', do I extract only the contents within the 'faces' and 'iconfaces' folders into what's already in my library?

I have installed FM20 on a new MAC and have dowloaded the latest facepack
however whatever I do I cannot get players faces to load.
I have copied the folder to /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020/graphics
I have also ticked on reload skin when confirming changes in prefs and unticked use cache to decrease loading times.
it takes ages to load I the skin which makes me think its loading the face pack, but when it load I have the Silhouette face for every player.
is there anything else I should be doing ?

We do not currently have any free mirrors for this file. There are two completely opposite reasons this happens:
Possibility 1) The file is very new, and a mirror is still being created, this hopefully shouldn't take more than 5 more minutes.
Possibility 2) The file is very old and you should seek out a newer version. Old files still exist on our servers so if you REALLY need to access it please get in contact with an administrator. Alternatively all archived files held on our server are available to premium members instantly.

Irrespectively, files from update packs should all be in the same folder, not separate ones. To be clear, all faces should be directly in the faces folder without any sub-folders, and same goes for the iconfaces.
