It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

We get a LOT of users that claim to have put the pack in the right place and followed the instructions, but usually after investigating we find they hadn't. That is why mons is trying to get more info from you, and nothing more.
What you are describing doesn't make any sense to us as we have highlighted, thousands of others are using the pack successfully.
What we need to know for DEFINITE is the filepath you have put all your graphics in. A screenshot would be nice, but they MUST go:
User/My Docs/SI/FM13/graphics
and NOT:
Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/football manager 2013/graphics
It may be that if you have placed some things in there, some will work while others do not and it may be that this causes crashes.
If you have got it in the right place and the Megapack does contain all the images AND the config.xml file then something has gone wrong with the game itself. In which case can you do the following:

I've never downloaded the Facepack before, so what version should I download? It says Complete Pack (5.4) at the top of the page will that contain them all, or should I download that or download in order 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4?

Download the complete 5.4 pack and you should be sorted. Make sure you carefully follow the installation instructions in order to ensure that the process goes swimmingly

How many images do you have in your Megapack folder and is there a config.xml file?
Also can you tell us EXACTLY where you placed the folder?

I will need the following to see what's wrong, ideally accompanied with screenshots.
The folder in which the MP folder is placed. Please make sure that you copy and paste it exactly from the address bar.
The total image count contained therein.
Whether there is a folder named config.xml contained therein.

I have downloaded the complete facepack selection, including the updates for 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4.
I did the icons too, and this worked without any issues. However, the changes don't seem to have worked. All the faces from 5.0 have come up on my game, having followed the instructions. However, ones in the 5.1 - 5.4 updates haven't. I know this, as I have cut-outs of Dietmar Hamann, Zenden and Jurgen Klinsmann for example in the folder, but they aren't coming up on the game.
All my pictures are in one file. Do the updates for 5.1 - 5.4 need to be separate folders for these new faces to appear in the game? Can you let me know.

However, I see there are 2 new updates since then. Do I need to load 5.04 and 5.05 to see all the latest additions, or just 5.05? I assume both but could you confirm please. Also, if I am asked to overwrite at any point, should I say yes or no? I would literally cry if I removed all the images I already have haha.
Second question. There are 2 players that I searched in your image ID thread, and they both have pics that say 5.01 underneath. Does that mean they should have shown when I downloaded 5.03 full version? One of them (24026903) was on the default with a pic but hasn't shown an image since I loaded the megapack 5.03. The other (85120748) wasn't on the default database but despite showing as 5.01 in your ID thread, no face for him is in my 5.03 version.
Finally, what benefit do you get from the Icons pack? How do logos and kits appear different to the existing version that I would have? What other benefits are there? I have never downloaded Icons so just not sure if the benefits make much difference to the experience.
I hope my questions make sense and would appreciate your advice again.

To answer your first question, download the 5.04 update packs and then 5.05 and apply them in order, overwriting when prompted. Remember, you should have one folder and one folder only with all the images in there. You should have over 125,600 images, plus the config.xml in there.
In response to your second question, what that means is that the image for the person in question was added in that update pack. It will of course be visible both if you download any subsequent packs or if you download the latest version of the whole megapack.
For more info on the icons megapack, click this link. It refers to the previous version of the icons megapack, but the concept remains the same. It's up to you whether you want them to be in your game. It's got nothing to do with logos and kits, and those are dealt with in separate areas of these forums.

I'm downloading Megapack 5.0 for the first time but I have this problem.
The Rar is 5.0 gb. I'm running windows on a 32 gb ssd while all the programs are in another disk. How Can i manage to move MyDocuments folder to the other disk? If i paste these 5 gb in the ssd I will not have any other free space left. Please help me.

Use this page - the official FM13 manual and search for YOUR GAME'S FILES on that page. If you're not sure what you're doing, then I'm not sure I can recommend that you mess about with the folder structure. It's quite straight-forward imo but I recommend that you ensure you know what you're doing.

Question 2 response also understood, but something isn't quite right (I'm on 5.03 version at the moment after downloading that in full).
ID 85120748 is in my faces folder and somebody even sent me another so now I have two pics in there for him. Both pics show a face when I open in the folder, but no face shows for that player in game. I have 122,345 items showing and config file.
ID 24026903 face was in the default list but upon checking that image number still does not appear in my faces folder or in game.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks very much for that. Yes, the original pic was 85120748, the latest one was 85120748[1]. Both were png files. I deleted the original now, re-named the latest one, exited game and steam and re-loaded the skin. Still no face appeared. I then did the same from the link you gave, so that only that one image number was in the folder for this player, exited, re-loaded the skin again etc - still it doesn't appear.
You obviously know your stuff and this should work. But sadly it isn't in my version for some unknown reason. Any more thoughts?
I didn't yet try it on the other player ID as he isn't currently one of my squad, hence not so important.
