'Abate getting forward, he's found a great cross too' 'Great ball'

After he pings a ball wildly over everybody's head and never looks like he's going to find anyone.

I don't watch much Italian football but surely Robinho would of been a better choice upfront than Niang??

Robinho's been crap for a fair few years. Niang brings work-rate if nothing else.

And that's that.

Milan have been absoloutly criminal in the last 5 minutes.

Pretty much anything you'd want your team to do when chasing a game and needing a goal they've done the exact opposite.

Pumping your centre backs forward and taking a short free-kick is one of them.

4-0, perhaps, but 3-0 certainly wouldn't have. As for Milan, aside from a short spell in the second half they were dreadful, so many silly little mistakes.

Edit - I feel really sorry for Niang, the kid's just 18, I don't think he's even scored in Serie A yet and with Pazzini out it was a huge ask expecting him to hold his own out there.

He was almost a Lazio player in the summer but we tried to drag the price down too far because the chairman wasn't convinced he could make the step up to Serie A...

I'm not sure, the first coming so early was a kick in the teeth cause if they managed to get through first 15 without conceding they would have settled and Barca would have had some pressure on them. 2nd was offside to start off so little unlucky there, and they managed to hold of Barca for long spells, just little unlucky mistakes and lacks in concentration cost them a bit. Could have been a different game if Niang scored too. Were a bit stupid near the end though, gave the ball away so much when attacking and then just got countered.

Lotito's an idiot. Gala got a Michu-esque bargain.

What you have just described is not "pretty decent".

Milan could complain about the 2nd goal, but you could say Abate should have been sent off and Barca should have had a penalty.

That free kick by Robinho at the end, sweet Jesus. Although apart from that he didn't do too bad.

We are going to get pumped tonight. Apparentley we're resting Scz, Sagna, Walcott, Cazorla and Podolski, as well as Wilshere's injury.

Fabianski, Jenkinson, Coquelin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Giroud

Feel bad for all the fans that have paid to go over there if Wenger is just accepting defeat. Whether we go out or not at least give it a go. Also it's been 10 days since our last game, surely that is enough rest for premiership level players...

Thought the exact same thing, makes no sense at all.

A comfortable 2-0 for Bayern I'll predict.

On the other hand, you lost 3-1 at home. You've got no chance.

Even though we have no chance, I can't believe we're resting players. Would United rest players if they were 3-1 to Bayern? Of course they wouldn't. It just reeks of a lack of ambition and a disbelief in the side, something that's absolutely criminal for a manager to do.

There's no point in admitting defeat, sure the chances are slim, but surely you'd just go for it?

As AFC said resting players so Arsenal can qualify for the competition that he's resting players for shows no ambition at all.

EDIT: Fabianski; Gibbs, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Jenkinson; Arteta, Ramsey, Rosicky, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud.

Not a bad squad in the end.

Where do this lot get their information from, i'd not seen anything about resting players, other than the change in keepers anyway.

I'd be grateful for a score draw at this point.
