FM21 quitting unexpectedly

Hi

I hadn't played FM for 5 or 6 years but decided to jump back in recently. Having recently installed FM21 and investing 27 hours into a new game, I've been left frustrated by the game no longer loading and quitting / kicking me out after the Football Manager 2021 opening screen and receiving the following message :-

" Football manager 2021 v 21.2.2 - 1503138 quit unexpectedly "

I had recently added players faces, club logos, trophy and tournament packs from reliable and much used sources. I un-installed the game and re-installed it, played it for a few hours last night, went back to play it today and received exactly the same message.

I have emailed SI and I am pulling my hair out. I am not in any way Tech savvy so can anyone out there help???
