It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

From FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive
Now the files will instead appear in the following location:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2021’
If you're having to create the Sports Interactive folder, chances are that you're in the wrong place. The folder is created by the game and is where your saved games, tactics, filters etc are saved.

It's my first time extracting file this big. I just recently downloaded the megapack and it says right now estimated time left is over 10 hours. Is that a normal occurrence? Also I download all 19 parts and put them in one folder and I extract only the first part since the guide says so and the rest of 18 parts will be extracted automatically since they are in the same folder. Is my step correct?

Sometimes with such a big file the computer gets the calculation of extraction time wrong and it speeds up after a while. Be prepared for it to take a fair while, however. It may take around an hour or slightly less with all conditions being ideal, so close any running programs and Chrome tabs for example.
If you can't find the time to leave your PC unused to extract the files, perhaps it might be worth letting it extract overnight, making sure there aren't any power settings which send the system to sleep if inactive after a period of time.

Try to download it using Google Chrome in incognito mode, see if that works for you.

it downloads very slowly until 60mb and then stops. No issue with other files that download smooth in almost 20 seconds. I am on chrome i tried incognito mode as well.

I've got an internet connection which is usually dreadful, and it downloads 60mbs of 13.07 in seconds.
Is the scenario you describe when using Chrome in incognito mode? If yes, you should be able to resume interrupted downloads.

Is it possible to remove all the headshots in Football Manager 21 Touch? Even the licensed headshots.
I know it's a weird question but I'd prefer no headshots at all. Rather than some headshots and no blanks.
Example attached is the blank I'm referring to.

I downloaded and (I think) installed this face pack for FM20. Does anyone know if it's supposed to give new newgens that enter the game after that point one of those photos, or if it's supposed to update existing newgens on my team as well? If it's the former, is there a way to manually update the pictures for some players?
Tried with both the TCS skin and the default skin. My folder structure is:

> graphics
> sortitoutsi
> faces
> (all the face images)
> iconfaces
EDIT: I guess this pack doesn't apply for newgens. I got Zealand's NewGAN pack to work for that though.

Thanks for the link mons, doesn't quite work though. I was able to create a graphics folder and add the blank headshots. But the licensed headshots are still in the game, and I can't see in the Resource Archiver where to extract them.

It makes no difference to us where the images come from as long as they're reasonably recent and of a good quality. If the person already has a cut in the megapack, make sure that the image requested is of a superior quality. There's little point in making a request for a person who already has a recent and high-quality cut in the megapack; we have a limited amount of cutters and it is not a good use of their time to do so.

We've only got a forum to cut reasonable requests, I'm afraid, where requesters provide new or improvement images and our cutters take them on, but only if they're of sufficient quality because it's a waste of time otherwise.

Good Ebening all! I'm a bit of an old school and I'm still digging FM11. I am very much interested in downloading the cut-out megapack version 3.00 which I believe is where it all started but the mirrors doesn't exist anymore. How can I download them? If I understood correctly all the versions 3.xx available are based on FM11 (judging by their release dates) so I'm not only keen to download the 3.00 one but all of the 3.xx updates. Thanks in advance.
