It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Many thanks mons. Unfortunately your response does not solve the problem. In Windows 11, there are three locations on the C drive that contain folders called “Documents”: -
In addition to these, there are several locations on the C drive with folders called “My Documents”. Moreover, none of the above locations contains a file called Sports Interactive to help me find the correct place. Of course, I could try each location in turn but the process takes many hours so it would be helpful if you were able to tell me where to install the players images?

I decided to solve the problem by testing with only one player image that was not present in the game. This will be much faster. I placed the image in all potential locations in turn until I found the location where the image appeared in the game. I then loaded all images into that location and the problem is now solved. Using Windows 11, the correct location is C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sports Interactive.

Let's tackle this another way. When you save a career, where does it go? You can easily find this by using the load career button (or whatever its name is) from the game's main menu. You can check the full path in that way. That is your user data folder, and that is where your graphics should go.

First time poster. Just downloaded the Megapack for the first time. Great work, really improves the FM experience.
I noticed a number of EFL players have reverted to their FM 2021 pictures. Just wondering if future update packs will update these pictures to the more recent photos found on FM22.

You should be able to download the missing part from the other mirror site.
It's more practical if you download the torrent file, which is a single file containing everything.

Hey guys, I have the full pack installed and it seems like every face is showing in game but I have noticed that 1 face is not even though it is present in the pack. Please let me know if you have any idea as to why that might be the case.

Hi guys, sorry if this has been covered before - I downloaded the full face pack for FM20, but didn't play FM21. Now on FM22, should I be downloading the 25 or so individual updates since my last download? Or am I better off just starting afresh and downloading the full FM22 pack?
There's loads of these going back to 12.09. I'm assuming the file size is smaller so even though there's a lot of update packs it'd still be quicker than starting again, but would like to double check before spending hours going through them all, cheers!

You could download all the update packs you've missed out one-by-one, but it'll probably be easier to just download the 2022 torrent and top it up with the 2022.01 update pack.
But yes, if you don't want to go down that road, you'll need to download the 20+ update packs which were released since you last updated your files.
Tbph, I'd be surprised if anybody is still seeding such an old file for such a niche project, but you can live in hope…

I am using chrome and the download will not resume.
I have downloaded everything else today without any issues. I cannot seem to get this to complete. Is this due to the servers being smashed on release day?

If I clickon the donload latest changes for 2022.00 I can only download the complete megapack. Is there a download link to a pack with just the changes to 13.15? I don't want to download the whole pack again. For 2022.01 it works just fine.
