It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I don't play FM on mobile, so I'm at a bit of a loss here. Check your folders to see that you don't have any other config files from other facepacks which might be stopping this particular image from displaying.

I haven't played the game in about 10 days until today and I have downloaded the new players faces update. When I have started my new save all the players faces are gone. I have saved the folder in the usual folder I use for all packs. I hope it's an easy fix as I don't want to have to download the full pack again

Simply put, you can't. It's too time-consuming to sort them out and keep them up-to-date manually, which is the only way it can be done for now.

I'm new to the site and the game and I wanted to download the cut out player faces. The download does start in the browser but then it unfortunately stops and says there was an error. When I try to continue the download it does continue but after a short period of time it stops again. Is there any other way to download it? Maybe from a hoster or something?

I just copied and updated the 2 Update packs to the Megapack but now my faces folder has 338.056 pictures while my iconfaces folder has 338.050 pictures. There's a difference of 6 and altogether that's less than the 338.069 pictures which were included in the Megapack. It works fine but I'm wondering if I get a problem with the missing 6 pictures some day. Or is it correct this way?

If you use Google Chrome, you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted. It's a large file and it does tend to get interrupted sometimes, especially if you're running other network-intensive apps, such as streaming, on the same device.
The amount of images actually included in the megapack download will include a fair few images which have since been deleted from the megapack and the config down the years, such as images for the wrong people or for UIDs not in the game. You're fine; the actual amount of images in the config file is actually 337,757.
I'm actually also the data researcher for a country in the official database as well, so that does tend to take a fair bit of time as well. I don't really FM all that much, actually, in fact 😉

Depends on the version of the megapack you downloaded, but it'll be in the region of 20GB+.
That's how the default skin displays them. Try one of the variety of skins we have on the site for an alternative 👍
