It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

started a new save. Same result …..

Can I see this folder? Please note - I don't want to see the OneDrive version, I want to see the one directly in your Documents. Before taking the screenshot, click on the path so that I can see it in full like the below if possible (instead of the breadcrumbs version)
I'd also like to see the faces folder in there, so that I can be sure it's identical to your OneDrive equivalent.

Half of the original game faces have disappeared too (ones from Championship etc), so not sure if that is correlated?

Both seem fine.
When you say they aren't working, what is that you mean? Do you get an empty space where the player image would ordinarily go, or is it the dark default face for players without an image? Can I have a screenshot of one of these players?
At the start of this conversation, you say that you have copied over the folders from a previous version. Did you add an update pack for any of those facepack styles perchance? I suspect you have installed it wrongly - when you get an empty space where a player image should be, that's what happens.

It's just the generic default face for players without an image (as per the attached) - coincidentally, before trying to use the graphics folder, this player had an actual picture in the original game

For 2022, I've copied the same folder into a hard drive and moved across to the new Mac

In this post, the screenshot showed that you are running multiple facepack styles at a time. It could be that one or more of them do not have the full megapack and just an update pack instead. Perhaps FM reads files differently on Macs when compared to Windows, which might lead to this anomaly. Since you have 4 folders and 4 different facepacks, there are up to 4 folders in which things could be potentially going awry, which is a bit hard to diagnose via screenshots.
Barry Bannan's UID is 29010507. Can you check inside all four of the packs and see if you can find an image with that filename in there?
I would also suggest that you move any 3 of the folders to a temporary folder elsewhere, to see if the issue can be localised in any one folder. (e.g. leave the sortitoutsi folder, and move the 3). Then reload your skin to see if the faces start appearing.

Since this year am i playing at a Mac Book Pro.
Now i have the problem that on the Mac the cache will not clear and i only see a part of the faces.
On my old computer (Windows) the same faces are visable.
I have followed the instructions. in the post to clear the cache.
Could somebody tell me where on the Mac the cache is located?

At no point in the installation instructions is it specified that you have to clear the cache to get the graphics to appear. That is not what is needed, and will make no difference at all, since clearing the cache will not display images which aren't installed correctly, which is generally why images don't display.
Can I have a screenshot of your preferences (showing the bit displayed in the installation instruction), and screenshots of the folder you've installed your faces in (showing clearly both the full path) and of the amount of images in your faces folder? 👍

Hi.
I've download the complete pack & extracted it into the graphics folder. I've cleared the cache, ticked “Reload skin” option & unticked “Use caching” option but the faces are not appearing after reloading the skin. I had the face pack for last years game & had no issues with it but the new 1 will simply not appear. I've checked & the config file is present in the folder.
Any suggestions what I can do?

Can I assume that the sortitoutsi folder contains just 2 folders? One titled faces and one named iconfaces?
And when you say the pack isn't working, what exactly do you mean? Can I have an in-game screenshot of Salah or Kane, for example?

The _MACOSX folder is a different stadium pack folder. Custom faces is what I use for faces I've created using FMXML for players that are not in the face packs. 01/02 is a face pack folder for players from the 01/02 season database.
Basically none of the player faces are showing in game. Yes the pack includes both faces & iconfaces.

hi guys, got a problem, my cutout pack doesnt want to load ig, i dunno why but i tried it various times, deleted all game files on my pc, redownloaded it and nothing works.. im confused cause my TCM Logos pack works if i put it in the graphics folder…
