@sergitok16, you've been uploading a fair amount of decent sources in the past weeks. Instead of depending on others to do them for you, have you considered trying to cut them yourself?

It's really not hard at all, the learning curve is very gentle and there are free online tools available to help you in cutting sources like this one quickly, easily, for free and to a very good quality.

Have a look at this thread for guidelines for cutters and video tutorials for some more info on what we expect for from our cuts 👍

I recommend using remove.bg for your cuts. It's a fantastic free online tool which does the heavy lifting for you by removing the background in the source image, leaving you to only rotate, crop and/or nudge the collar upwards. It's tremendously easy to use and provides fantastic quality. With it, you can go from source to cut in a couple of minutes for the vast majority of images.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons 😉 If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Hi @mons.

Thanks for your advice, I will try to make them myself and upload them ready. About what I already uploaded, do you recommend that I try to prepare them myself and upload them again or do I start from the next faces I get and upload?

Best regards,

Sergio.

As you're still starting out, my suggestion would be to post them in the tutorial and guidelines thread for feedback. This way, once you get some feedback on your cutting technique, you can then upload the final cut to the person's timeline. Doing this will ensure that you avoid uploading images which get rejected time and again because they need further work. This will also help you avoid making the same “mistakes” time and again 😉

My suggestion would also be that you do your first cuts on larger, clearer sources like the one on this timeline. It'll be much easier than if you started with a smaller source like this one. You will then hopefully understand why some of your smaller sources got rejected 😉
