It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I installed the face pack months ago, just like I did for many years. But in this year's game, icon faces in the right-click menu when you right-click on player name can be seen, but there is nothing seen in the player profile. I did all the instructions, and re-installed it maybe 3 times. I play the game via xbox game-pass, and I have my Documents on the D drive, not the Windows-installed C one. It got kind of complicated, but I have the FM file in both drives' documents file somehow, so I uploaded the pack into both of them. But nothing changed. Can anyone PLEASE help me? It is such a dissatisfaction…

For Gamepass, you need to install files in the default user data folder. Anywhere else and the game won't pick them up.

Im trying to download the Cut Out Player Faces archive to my computer but i have a shit one, so i was wondering if theres a way to reduce the amount of archives of the pack, like reducing the faces of the most of the leagues (i would be happy having the ones from the major european leagues).

The UID in your config file is different to what is in the game, so the one in the config file should be changed to 2002042696.

I've used this site for years with 100% success but this time i'm struggling 😢
by default the gamepass version has installed on my pc to : C:\XboxGames\Football Manager 2022
Ive downloaded some megapacks of kits/logos/faces and placed them in a created folder as per = C:\XboxGames\Football Manager 2022/Graphics
I'm having no joy at all - where am i going wrong? i feel its something very obvious - im just at a loss! ps ive ticked the options in the interface settings, i feel this is more of an issue with where to place the files?

As per the FAQ,
The folder you mention seems to be the game installation folder, which is different to the user data folder.
Move the megapack from the folder you've mentioned into the folder I've mentioned, and you should be fine.

@Footygamer Hello, I have bought premium and I have installed face pack. Is there a guide to download with premium as when I watch YouTube videos it seems that they have to use uTorrent, something I believe I dont? I then think I have to use WinRAR but not sure at the moment

Thanks, new to the site so dont know all the know-hows haha. So in theory, you need to have about 50GB for the pack as you need to keep the extractor file for the files to extract out of if you understand me?

Hi,
I have downloaded the complete megapack & I'm trying to extract it (using Breezip), it's been running for some time now & has made zero progress, i appreciate it's a very large file so might take a while but I'm unsure its working. Wondering id the file is simply too large? Any way to download in smaller chunks bearing in mind I'm starting from scratch.

I would recommend Winrar. If you're going to restart the process, my suggestion would be to delete any files extracted so far and then restart your laptop/PC before going to bed and leaving the extraction process overnight immediately after it 👍

I'm having a problem installing the facepack. I've done it in previous years with no problem.
When I download the file, it starts off with an expected download time of several hours, but the donwload then completes in a couple of minutes, which is strange in itself.
Nonetheless it seems to be successful, and I can extract the file and copy the contents into my graphics folder. It then just doesn't work though.
I've installed trophies, kits and badges with no problem but this just isn't happening - I've tried deleting and re-downloading and the sane thing happens.
