You need to copy and overwrite the faces and the new config file from the update pack into the faces folder.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Now @Burton Brewer, can you right-click on the faces folder, choose properties and take a screenshot of the ensuing screen? Also, the properties of the file you've downloaded would help too.

As suspected, that contains a fraction of the images included in the megapack. I have no way of knowing what you've actually downloaded, but it's definitely not the full megapack.
My suggestion is to download the torrent file, and then download and apply the subsequent update packs. Have a look at the readme file and the FAQ on how to install the lot 👍

@mons Don't know if this only applies to staff, but I don't have the option to download the base versions anymore? If you download the .00 ones, it only gives you the actual update pack, with about 4,000 faces in this case

As a premium user there should be no reason to download the base file since you can download the complete file.
I noticed lots of people were still downloading the first pack and every update even when they were premium and didn't need to.
I moved around a bunch of things on that page to try and avoid that a few weeks ago.
Is there a reason to get the base pack?
Maybe not so much for this year, but more if you want to play an older game version. For example if I want to start a FM16 save with the faces that were around back then, my only option now is to download all the update packs from 2010 up to 2016.

I have the mega pack downloaded and added to graphics then faces and have had no problem with it, i’ve downloaded all the updates in chronological order but when i add them all my game does not load/ can’t reload skin so i only added updated 3 so i could get Mitoma for my brighton save, however, when i add update 3 to my faces subfolder it completely overrides the megapack so the only faces i get is the update 3 and not everything else. Hope i can get some help (on mac btw)

I believe copy/pasting works different for Macs when compared to PC, which effects how you install update packs. Instead of copying the whole folder, you need to copy the contents of the update pack.

I deleted the updates and redownloaded them and it seems to have sorted it really dk why it was overwriting itself before

I'm assuming you don't have the full megapack, given the amount of images, but that shouldn't be an issue in itself. All seems fine otherwise.
Can you give me an in-game screenshot of a player you think should have his icon appearing please?

ok here is screenshot of current game, does every update folder have to be kept separate, and it all not merged to work??..
