This is a downloadable save file that will let you quick start to just before the World Cup if all you want to do is play through the World Cup for a quick save.
There are two versions just before the squad selection and just before the first game. The second one may be useful if you're playing as a random nation and don't know which players to select, the squad selection will happen for you.
All international players have been loaded so each nation should have a full roster.
Unfortunately the exact ordering of fixtures won't be right due to a limitation of the game, but it doesn't make too much difference overall since the groups are the same.
To install put the .fm file in this location and then load it the same way you would your normal save game

This is so so niche but Tim Ream doesn't seem to exist in this for some reason? As someone who watches Fulham a lot I was going to have a go at shepherding his all conquering return to the National Team!

hi mate, I have a question that how can we add a national team that does not qualify World Cup 2022 into this? for example add italy instead of poland?

The WC squads are locked now, is it possible to update this save? Lots of players in this save are not going to the WC (Ings, Calvert-Lewis, Rogic etc).

you can use FMRTE to swap any player in/out of their national squads even during the tournament

Which I would have to buy to save etc. Just wondering if the original .fm save can be updated with the real squads.

how would you mange that? play as 32 managers and pick the squads, resign and how do you get the original managers back in place without using an IGE?

@kingrobbo i try to edit and add italy to world cup via advance rule, and everytime i tried to save editor,it always said it need to be tested . but it always said there is error in nation rules like this.can you help me?

this has been a known issue going back several versions, you edit WC and Afcon plays up, and to address I created a new set of rules for AFCON[fixed format]
but its part of a major file where the nations league is removed, changes to WC/EUROS +their qualifiers and international friendlies are reduced
I am too busy now but took a brief look and file doesnt load for me,its in my editor data folder
it should be here but doesnt appear in the editor, best bet ask over on SI bug forums

Hi there, and thanks in advance for your help! I've been trying to edit the World Cup by adding Italy to the qualified teams. I just can't figure out how to do that. Do I have to start a new game and then start the editor or start the editor while on the start screen and then start a new game?
