You need to copy and overwrite the faces and the new config file from the update pack into the faces folder.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I suspect you might have some old megapack files somewhere in your folder structure.
Can you make a search in the graphics folder of the following UID: 29175459? It's Offord's UID.
Before you take a screenshot, can you post the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks…

You said you have downloaded the newest complete pack, however the folder name is 13.01 and the date of the image in question is that of the previous megapack cut (which is why it's showing unsurprisingly).
How many images in total do you have in your faces folder?

Ive added all the update packs and the mega pack, but I seem to be missing player faces I once had.
Players like mo salah, Kieran Tierney.
I'm very new to fm so I could of possibly done something wrong.
Any help appreciated

As a premium member, the best advice I can give you is to delete all the megapack folders you have, and just download the latest complete pack, which will have all 400k+ cuts.

Is there a reason why many pictures, especially newer ones, does not have a completely transparent background?

Let me rephrase, the background looks completely transparent.
But if you select a colour picker in paint and click the background it is not completely empty as if you used an eraser.
I would guess that it's something that happens when you compress the pictures.
It does not affect anyone, i just always used the Cut-Out megapack and modified it for myself to look as the FM 2006 facepacks.
But since the background is not completely empty it does not work anymore.
So there is nothing wrong, i was just curious 🙂

Bit strange, looks fine to me, even when I open it with Paint. It might be that Paint doesn't deal with transparency very well. Try using Photopea instead 🙂

Yes, the background is transparent, but the rgb values are not 0. But I found a way to make it work today.
Will take a bit of manual work, but I have been working with this for months so that no problem if it takes a few weeks extra 🙂

Because the folders who have a screenshot in the OP do not look the same as the ones on your system. You need to install the download again 👍

Since the update I don't have any player or staff faces for any of the French or Dutch squads. I'm in 2031 and its been fine until the update. Is there any fix for this?

So after adding the licence fix some of the names of teams have changed eg. Napoli are now called Parthenope and Man Utd are now Manchester UFC. Any ideas?
