If done correctly, you should be asked if you want to overwrite files – accept. You should have one folder for faces and another folder for iconfaces, and no sub-folder whatsoever in them.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

You seem to have around 9,000 less iconfaces. Best way to resolve it is to download the full megapack, and replace your current iconfaces folder with the one from the downloaded folder.

Hello i have a problem for only one player endrick his face not showing even after putting the cut face in the faces folder the rest is working perfectly he's the only player i have an issue with, you can see his face at the bottom

What version of the game are you running? If it's not FM23, he will not appear with that UID. If you haven't edited the config file to insert a line including his UID, then he won't appear either.

a) You seem to have nowhere near the full complement of cut-outs. If that folder is sorted by name, you seem to have no cuts beyond the 2022.00 megapack. You should have just under 400,000 cuts.
b) Secondly, you can't just put an image in there and expect the game to automatically associate it with the right person. You need to edit the config file, using the steps outlined in this thread. I would suggest following the second set of steps.

i've just downloaded one of the cutout facepack update as i have the facepack already and its running but how do i go about the update that i just got do i just put it in the same facepack folder or idk any help pls ?

I downloaded facepacks 2023.00, 01 and 02 un-zipped them moved them into my graphics/faces folder and did my thing under preferences.
Now all player pictures are empty / blank.
What did I do wrong?

You should install the update packs within the main megapack folder, not in separate folders. Frankly, as premium user, you should just download the latest full updated pack and be done with it.
Can you upload a screenshot of your folder structure? This will help us see where the issue might be.

Have you removed the option to download the complete pack for older versions of FM? I did that a couple of months ago so i am sure it was possoble but now i cant find out how to do it. Thanks!

Apologies if this has been covered or is somewhere in the FAQ's, but do the packs available to download on the site work on FM 23 Touch (apple arcade on iPad)?? I have tried to find it on the forums/FAQ's but can't see it anywhere. I know you can add kits, badges, faces etc but wondered if you need a specific pack?

I don't believe there should be any issues with installing facepacks on other systems. Do the FAQs at the top of this thread not help at all? I'm afraid I'm on a PC, so my knowledge on installation on other systems is somewhat limited to non-existing…

Ok thanks, I am thinking the same that there shouldn't be an issue. Was just a little reluctant to pay for premium download if they then didn't work. Do you know of a small pack I could run a test on?
No the FAQ's don't seem to cover FM Touch or iPad unless I am missing something, but they are very extensive, you guys are amazing.

You could perhaps try downloading the latest update pack to see if you can find a way to installing it and getting it to work. You will only get the 6,000-odd images included in the pack, so it's not really comprehensive, but if that one works, then the whole megapack will definitely do so too 👍

If you look at for example the DF11 Player faces pack you can download the complete file for the start of every older FM (versions 2021.00, 2020.00, 2016.01 etc.) and it was possible for the cut out player faces pack in June 2022 (as you can see in the imgur link below) but now it only shows the update files. But its not that big of a deal since i can just download the base pack and download all the update files up until the point where i want but if it is easy to bring back i would appreciate it. Thanks for looking into it!

I’ve just downloaded the six updated face packs files as I originally only downloaded the main pack when i first installed FM23. When I’ve moved them into my graphics folder and try to start up my game it gets stuck on the loading screen. I removed them all and just tried adding the update 6 pack. When I’ve done this instead of having the standard no face image for players it is completely blank. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong or how to fix this?

If I do need to have all the update folders in the graphics file why is my game not loading? I let it try to load for 10mins before ending it through task manager.

Hi, I am unsure what I am doing wrong. I downloaded the newest, complete pack and yet I see some older faces. I see on the submission page that newer faces have been submitted and were completed into the update pack. For example, Luke Offord for Crewe. I have that older picture of him in-game, the one with the shaved head. But a newer picture of him has been submitted and accepted into update pack, v 2022.10. I downloaded the most recent, complete pack but I have v 12.05 image of him. If I downloaded the newest, complete pack, should it not include the newest one ?
