Klopp is going nowhere. He is perfectly happy at Dortmund and doesnt want to leave the Ruhr area because of his family. Btw its funny how people now long for Klopp despite one year ago the same people kept asking me "Who is this guy anyway?" ,"Never heard of this no-name" a.s.o.

I'll say it again: I really don't want Moyes at United.

We definitely should go all out for Jose, especially that Fergie is staying the club so he'd work with him.

David Moyes is set to be appointed the new manager of Manchester United by the end of the week, Goal.com understands.

The Everton boss is expected to be announced, possibly even within the next 24 hours, as the successor to Sir Alex Ferguson, who revealed on Wednesday morning that he is stepping down at the end of the season.

Sources have told Goal.com that the United players have learned today that Moyes is the man who has been lined up to take over from Sir Alex.

I think its just purely because hes Scottish, strong on discipline, demanding and likes youth. Whether he can handle it or not is another matter, but I think he will do alright. My only slight fear is that working with him might not be seen as an attraction perhaps for players we wanna sign.

I'm certainly not against Moyes, there are others I would prefer but he is a very good manager. He knows the league inside out and that's the most important competition.

Blimey - when I saw the rumour I thought it was bollocks. So show's what I know.

It's gonna be weird seeing a new guy in the MUFC dugout given Fergie's been in charge since before I was born, which is a fact I get reminded on every birthday given I have the same one.

Also, Moyes moving to MUFC and taking Fellaini with him spells a disaster for Everton. But I daresay they'd probably try to prevent him signing their squad... possibly.

Well never thought the day would come, massive congrats to Ferguson though, I don't think he will actually be properly replaced and there'll be another guy like him. Probably the best manager I've ever seen, even though he's a bit of a cunt.

As for United fans criticizing Moyes, seriously? He's a very good option. He's consistently been around the top 4 with Everton with very limited resources, this year they've been very solid again despite some more financial struggles. He'd be a very good option, might not be on the Mourinho level but I see him as a better fit for United.

I can see this being Fergie's biggest ever move - giving up what's left of his career to get Mourinho.

He knows Mou wants his job, and the comments over the past few days probably forced his hand.

And Moyes is good, but not Utd good. Probably Arsenal good anyway, I'd want him.

The Times reporting it's Moyes. SSN saying he's left the training ground (could mean anything though, he maybe going McDonalds) and 'sources' saying Jose was never in the running.

Looks likely it's going to be Moyes.

i can only imagine it being Mourinho or Moyes, but the Mourinho deal to Chelsea seems to have been all sewn up for a bit if you believe certain stories, so i can only see it being Moyes.
