It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

this is my first time posting on here, i tried to contact SORTITOUTSI on twitter and facebook but no reply. im trying to download the megapack cutout pack but the download keeps failing…..any idea why?

Can you give more info? Does it keep failing at the same time or when the file is the same size?
Some people have this issue due to not having enough disk space available for the file.
Or sometimes it disconnects after exactly X minutes.
It's hard to help you without more info unfortunately.

Can we have a screenshot of your faces folder, as well as of your in-game preferences?
The reason that blank spaces are displayed is that there is a config file somewhere pointing to a folder which does not contain the images it is trying to map. Going by your download history, I suspect you have installed one or more update packs wrongly.

They shouldn't be.
The contents of each update pack should be included within the main faces folder, overwriting when prompted. You should have one folder for the faces, and one folder only, with no sub-folders. Same as for the iconfaces.

Greetings. I've been trying to download the cut-out 6.0 torrent for FM14, but there are no seeds and the other links are completely down. Is there any possibility to activate them?
(I tried to use the most recent cut-out, but strangely the faces appear)

They wouldn't have to be those of the time, I tried the current ones, but they stay that way. I've tried it on FM 17 recently and I don't know what could have happened to make them like that. Is there a way to solve it?

There were some changes made to the image compression in the 2022 torrent which made cut-outs look like that for older versions of FM.
Try downloading the 13.00 torrent, which is the most recent torrent file prior to that and which might still have some seeds…

Hello!
I have had the pack for a good few years now and had no problems, however downloading the recent update has caused some players to have no pictures or silhouette. (they were fine previously). I have totally removed the pack and downloaded the most recent complete pack but still have the same issue. All preferences etc are the same as usual and have reloaded cache and skin.
Any help would be amazing, thanks! 🙂

Can you provide screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder?

That's the folder for the latest update pack and not the full megapack, which is why you have around 6,500 images in each of the faces and iconfaces folder.
You should have one folder for faces and one folder only (and same for iconfaces); when installing update packs, you should place them into the main folder and not in a separate folder as you've done here.

Hey there, I updated the cut out players faces today. Strangely I reduced the amount of files inside the faces and iconfaces Folders. I think therefore in the game, some of the players appear without the faces. Do you have any hints why this happened?
