It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hey the facepacks don't seem to work for me somehow.
The iconfaces work in the game but I can't get the normal facepacks working and I really don't know what to do or how to figure our the problem.

Don't know where to report this so i will post here.
Player ID 53171657 seems to be broken due to the (1) behind it in the config file. Resulting in the player having no face in game.

I tried the getfiles.co.uk download several times but it tells me "
NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist."I have tried for different browsers (Chrome, firefox, safari) but gives me the same error. I can't use the dfile.eu thing because it only lets me download once per 1 hour and also download is slow af. Is there a fix?

Bugger. I'll be sure to remove that image from my folder, so that the config file in the next update pack will not include that line and the image will appear as intended. In the meantime, you can easily remove that line yourself 👍

I would suggest downloading the torrent, which gives you the same files in a single download, more quickly and with less hassle.

I am experiencing the same issue using 7-Zip I get this error (in photo). However, I did just use WinRAR and it appears I got all of the files BUT I still got errors too during the extraction process (seen in photo). 435,625 refers to the items in the “face” folder and 435,704 is the amount in my “iconfaces” folder.
If those counts are wrong could something please let me know what to do to stop such errors from ruining the full amount of faces?
Edit: Forgot to mention I used the torrent for all this and from that extracting the “sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_2024.00.rar”

Hey, so I have the facepack installed but not the newgan pack. I've just had my first youth intake in FM24 and a bunch of them have real faces, some of them regen faces and some with nothing at all. I'm confused as to what I need to fix, I like having the photos but I;m guessing they're actually really people somewhere else in the game?
I'm also a bit confused as I would have thought regens would have they're own IDs that wouldn't correspond to faces in the facepack?
Any thoughts/help/ideas??

I'm now having an issue were faces are not appearing in the game
Here's an example of Thierry Henry (ID:9888).
So obviously his ID is on the config.xml file.
And I do have his picture downloaded as seen above.
And yet his picture does not appear in the game.

I believe french national team has a licensing issue which prevents staff/national team player pictures from showing. Realnamefix solves this issue, I think.

I sorted the issue it was a piece of malware software I was running that messed things up.
Just a quick add-on is Lamine Yamal included in this face pack as he does not have a face in my save.

Hi,
I've never had a problem with Facepacks before, but on getting the FM24 demo I decided to reload the whole pack to make sure everything is up to date. The files are in the right place (Graphics folder), but nt all the faces are showing. I can only see about 50% of the PREM players for example (and no PREM logos - but that's a different issue!). Has anyone else seen anything like this?

There seems to be a bug in the beta, where newgans get the UIDs of real players. Hopefully it gets resolved soon 👍
Not yet, because the most recent update pack come out on 12 October and the game was released the week after. The forthcoming update pack will contain shedloads of new players, including him.
Seems like you didn't download or install it correctly. Are you getting a blank space where the cutout should be, or are you getting the default black silhouette?
