It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I recently downloaded FM24, and along with the game I downloaded the Mega Face Pack and the WTCS5 skin. Everything worked fine, but I immediatley noticed that quite a few player faces were showing up as blank. It seems like the face pack worked for most of the players, but somehow not for all. I have tried alot of stuff to fix the problem, such as re-downloading the face pack, but to no avail.
Help would be much appreciated!

Having issues when extracting the files that I did. it come across when doing it for the logos where some time is taken copying the content and presumably attempting to extract it before an error occurs. Is there some way to solve this?

Hii, not sure if its affecting anyone else but after downloading the pack facing game launch times of about 30 minutes and also being unable to connect to epic servers and access leaderboard, in game editor etc. Is there anyway to solve this? Thank you! (Problem Resolved)

So ı downloaded the face pack while extracting ıt asked me whether ı wanted 2 same images to be combined together(might not be the accurate term) and ı clicked yes to the question.Now some of the player pictures are completely missing.To add to my point the faces of the players are in the og megapack.They disappear after adding the updates ı think.My problem is the same that user Benitez experienced in the previous page.

Well it looks like you have somehow missed downloading his image. Either you have missed a update or not got the complete file.
He is part of my pack (both image and in config)
Since you are a premium member my best advice would be to delete what you have and download the complete file using chrome (or any other download manager found online) so you can resume any interruptions in the download making sure you get the full file. just in case you have missed any other files.

hey everyone, after I added in the updates for the face pack the faces didn’t show so I removed the update files and my tactics screen now shows a black background and not a green one like before . Do you have any idea what the issue could be and how I could solve it?

It's a bit hard to know what you've done without seeing what you've done. This megapack does not modify the tactics screen or anything else, so it'll be related to something else you may have edited or removed.

Hello, I have a problem about facepack. I have been downloading for days and trying everything but i couldn't make it. I have downloaded both megapack via torrent and 13 parts of face packs. However none of them are working. ı cannot extract the files. i am using winrar. it says the archive is either in unknown format or damaged. Thank you in advance.

You are probably not fully downloading the megapack, I guess. How large is the file you've downloaded?
I suggest downloading the torrent file, and then the 3 update packs released so far, it's easier that way 👍

So, for the last 2/3 years I’ve used the cut out player faces megapack… and I’m pretty sure I’ve never had this problem or I’m only just noticing.. so while looking through National teams I noticed none of the France national team have faces? Even though I know I have Mbappe’s face downloaded etc? Is this a new problem or do I need to go into my game files and delete something. I’m using WTS skin. Thanks in advance.

You need to download the real name fix, because that's a licensing issue which that download fixes.

I bought the premium membership then downloaded the Megapack for the first time. I followed all the steps the best I could. I made it to the part where I had to copy over the faces from Iconfaces folder to faces folder. On the video the faces copy over quite quickly however mine are taking about 5 second per face, there's 900,000 faces to copy over so this is going to take forever. Something is obviously wrong. Has anyone had this issue?

You don't have to copy anything?? download the complete pack and extract it to your graphics folder. You will then have a faces folder for normal size faces and a icon faces folder for small faces. Two separate folders.

Thanks for the reply. In the instruction video the man says, create a graphics folder, then a faces folder within it, then copy the icon faces and faces folder into said folder. Is this not something I need to do? Because that's the part that's taking ages.

I've worked out the reason the folder was copying rather than moving, it's because my fm folders are in One Drive.

I am getting an error. Error 0x8096002A. No error description. It does extract some of the player pictures but hardly even half of them. I've tried downloading the smaller packages (1 to 13 + updates), and the torrent file. Some of the smaller packages comes with the error aswell.

It appears when the extracting seems done, at the very end of it. It does extract some as said. I'm using the default Windows extracter. (I think).
