It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Going by your download history, I see what's happened. You've downloaded the base pack, then the most recent update pack only.
You should now download update packs 2024.01 - 2024.06, and apply them all chronologically. You should overwrite files when prompted.

Hello everyone, the title is pretty self explanatory.
I switched PC's and the facepack worked without any problem for me, logically I wanted to continue to use it.
Now when I do the same steps and follow the tutorial on the Website the pack just doesn't work, I have already done a clean reinstall twice and am at loss for things to do, so I just wanted to ask here.
Thanks for advice in advance.
Edit: the only difference in PC's would be, that I now run WIndows 10 (Preference) over Windows 11

I have version 23.02 of FM23, I wanted to know how to download the full pack, or if you prefer the mega pack, I looked and found only versions from FM24 upwards, thank you very much!
NOTE: remembering that I only talked about the MEGA PACK, I found their updates for all FM'S and their versions.

Good morning, yesterday I was playing and I wanted to update the graphics of the players' photos and I remembered something that I had to clear the buffer first and then refresh the skin, so I did it and instead of new graphics I don't have any photos of the players at all. Can anyone tell me what I should do now to get it back.

As I said, I wanted to download a few new photos of players and before refreshing I clicked "clean buffer [cash]" as in the screenshot and then I refreshed the skin and there were no photos of players at all, only dark backgrounds as in the screenshot.

When it comes to photos, there are practically none of them, 99% of the time.
I tried to refresh the skin, it doesn't help I think I'll have to buy 24 because there's probably no help here fm 23 doesn't want me anymore haha

That is the 2022.15 cut-out for Timber, so you don't seem to have the most recent megapack.
Can I also see a screenshot of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder? I'd also like to see a screenshot of what's in the graphics folder too.
You won't need to buy FM24 just because of this. What's happened is that you didn't install the megapack correctly, or messed it up somehow. Screenshots will help me understand what happened…

You don't have the full megapack, which should have around 460,000 images. Even if you'd just downloaded the 2024.00 base pack, you should have 435,378 cuts, and you're a good bit short of that. Moreover, I have no idea where you got that config file from, which should be around 22MB in size not 2KB.
Delete all that you have and download the 2024.00 torrent pack, and use Winrar to extract it, and you'll be fine 👍

I'm having a similar issue and I'm at my wit's end. I've downloaded the latest complete pack to be sure. I know things are in the right folder because the logos, which I also did a fresh download of, are showing up. A few player faces are showing up but not many and there's no rhyme or reason as to which. I also switched computers and downloaded my Steam cloud save in order to continue it, albeit with a totally fresh set of pictures. I'm wondering if there's something going on with that, some setting somewhere, preventing the photos from showing? I had the photos set in a different place with my last PC.

The correct folder is Documents \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 24 \ graphics. The bit in bold is missing in the first screenshot.
It's not clear from the second screenshot how many images there are in the faces folder. Should be in the region of 459,000.

Sure enough, brain fart for me because I'd backed up my FM24 folder and stuck my backup outside the Sports Interactive folder post transfer. Carelessness on my part. I appreciate you pointing it out. Transferring over now.
