It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I am trying to download the cut out faces pack using the free websites provided on the website (dfiles, frdl.io) but they do not work with me. the last time I downloaded the pack, the links were on Mediafire and were working fine. what should I do?

The links have not been on mediafire for at least a decade, I think.
Please give more info on how they don't work, it's not very clear what the issue is.

You're not using the most recent config file. Please make sure to do so, otherwise the megapack won't work as intended.

If not mediafire, so it was getfiles website or something like that. It was easier to access the downloaded files than these websites. Btw if I subscribe to the premium sortitout to download this file only, can I get it for one month only, not the whole year?

Hi all, I've got the player faces pack and they're all showing and loading correctly. But the issue I'm facing is my game literally cannot continue past a day, it freezes and won't advance.

Not too sure… you may remove the facepack and see if it still freezes. Or, if you can't be bothered, then just go on holiday and see if the game advances.

Does anybody know how I can get the player faces of both Paul Pogo and Obi-Martins. Both are missing on my games.

The fact is that this is a facepack for players in the official database. For Pogba (assume that you're talking about him), I guess he's removed from the database due to the ban, and some custom databases may have included him after he becomes available. Similar case for Obi… he's newly added.
The situation is that facepacks and custom databases are independent to each other. Since each of these databases adds their own Pogba and Obi, they're going to have different IDs in your game and my game. So, which should a facepack creator follow?
The solution is quite straightforward: Assume that you've both players in your game now… Then, just assign the photos to them by yourself:

Thanks for the help. The issue I'm having is that its on an iMac. I place the image in the graphics folder saved as the updated ID Number of the payer, refresh but it doesn't show, its still blank. Any ideas with the MAC version?

I have all the face packs installed as per sortitoutsi. However I updated the database with the latest update and Pogba has been rewarded but no face pack. I downloaded the image from sortitout but the id number was different. I changed the PNG image to the correct id number and placed it in the face pack folder on the IMac. when I start a new save still no image.

Let's stop for a while, and read both posts again: All we learnt from you was "this is good, that is done, another is complete,... and it doesn't work".
All we have is your words, and we can only take your words. If it's all true, then case closed... nothing to check, as everything is right (according to you).
But, obviously, this isn't the case, and something isn't working as it should be or some action is missing. So, now the question is: What can we do to help you? Apart from your statement, we have no other information at all to verify what you've done.
So, as said, please share some screenshots, e.g. image, filename, folder path, config.xml location, the line you've added in config.xml,... etc. So we can help check what's wrong or if anything more is needed. Or, we are just going nowhere…

while I was updating player photos using the NewGAN Manager I forgot to backup the config.xml file and overwrote everything I had done previously in the config.xml file. I loaded an older version of the same file from Time Machine (I am on an iMac) and after that all player photos were blank, with the exception of some shadow head placeholders. I cleared the cache and reinstalled the facepack but still all the players are blank. Kits, logos and such things all still work fine. I keep staff photos in a separate folder and use a separate config.xml file and they also work fine still. The issue is only with the players. I assume the problem lies not with the facepack but with a setting within the game, although all the settings seem (to me) to be correct.
I use a custom skin (WTCS Gold v1.3) but I also tested it with the default skin. Even then all are blank.
I have included screenshots of the relevant settings and folders. If you need more info please let me know.

This is a discussion about “Cut-Out Faces Megapack”, but you didn't mention a word about it. So, better confirm this first: Do you mean you generated the config.xml file with NewGan Manager, and overwrote the config.xml from Cut-Out Faces Megapack?
It doesn't really make sense, as the two facepacks should never be mixed in the same folder.
Anyway, if this is the case, then you may just download Cut-Out Faces Megapack again, and will have the config.xml back.
Or, do you mean that you overwrote the config.xml, previously generated by NewGan Manager? i.e. “Generate” instead of “Preserve”?
Therefore, now your newgen players suddenly have different faces from earlier, which you don't want to see… Then, you restored the config.xml file from a system backup, but things don't work as it supposed to be. Do I understand correctly?
First things first, you suspected that it's something in the settings. But, apart from clear cache and folder location, there aren't really any options in Preferences about third-party stuff. Next, I suppose you didn't touch anything there at all, and more importantly, your other graphics add-ons are working as intended.
Is it about the “r-” thing?
Just noticed something from your config.xml screenshot: The entries are shown as “200xxxxx”, which should have “r-” in front of the IDs since the winter update in 2024 (I think so). NewGan Manager's latest version should have it fixed… for some time, actually.

If still not working, I know it's disappointing, but it may be easier to just generate a brand new config.xml and move on. Less hassle this way… yes, it's a costly lesson.

What happens is just a photo, a player's ID, and a line of text to assign this photo to the ID in a file named config.xml.

Same problem here but I downloaded the Full Pack 2025. I really need the update packs? Man, this spend 5 hours. I'm not joking. FIVE HOURS. I'm tired. All the faces are blank.

You can use just the 2025.00 megapack with no problems. You don't need the update packs, but why would you not get them if you can?

I thought it was the config, so I did the FMXML config, it's still the same. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm very disappointed because I wasted a few hours of my day on this. Could you help me?

a) as explained, you shouldn't just download the 2025.04 update pack. You should download the 2025.00 update pack, and then the 2025.01 to 2025.04 update pack and install them chronologically. After downloading the full 2025.00 pack, you downloaded the 2025.00 update pack (which you didn't need) and just the 2025.04 update pack.

Can you make a search in the graphics folder of 1431 (the UID of this guy)?
Before you take a screenshot, can you sort the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
When you run the search, can you change the below search options?
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and where that image is coming from within your files…
