It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

You should still be able to use the 2026 megapack in FM24, and any subsequent update packs. You'll eventually just have a few tens of thousands extra images for people not in that game, but it won't make a difference to your game, in reality.

Hey I downloaded megapack 26.00 for FM 24. Copied it over to Fm26 but the faces aren't showing up for me at all. Wondering if it's because the patches are a public beta patch so maybe somethings off with the directory. Otherwise, I'm completely lost.
Never had a problem with facepacks before circa fm 19

For example, some players are there, some aren't. Carlos Soler was the first player I noticed didn't have his face. He's not a world beater but I know his face is on the pack so I'm not sure why he's not showing up, amongst probably thousands of others for me.

Hi guys, I have fixed the white stripe at the top of the cut-out faces. I extracted one face from the game with the UABE-tool. And then I saw that the picture has a transparant bar at the bottom. Now I added a transparent bar of 6 pixels at the bottom of my own cut-out. It worked. Additionally, the size of the SI player pictures is 256-256.

some reason quite a few players faces aren't showing up big players, rashford, yamal and a lot more, downloaded the megapack cut out pics. any ideas?

As per this post, it appears to be a bug with the game's UI and nothing to do with this pack. Fixing it via the megapack would necessitate changing all 500k+ images in the megapack, which isn't really feasible. We'll have to wait for this to be dealt with by SI, I'm afraid.
You've either not installed the entire megapack, or not installed it correctly. Are you getting a blank space, or the default black silhouette?

I’ve downloaded my face pack as usual and it won’t work at all for me, done everything I usually do checked on YouTube to see if there was anything different and didn’t see anything. I’m on the gamepass version not steam so if anyone else ran into any problems on that help please!!!!

I downloaded the megapack this evening and installed as per the instructions. I have 501,690 files in the following folder:-
:\Users\Public\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics\sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_2026.00\Faces
None of the faces appear in the game though.

I don't use Gamepass so any assistance that I can give on this is very limited. Do the installation instructions not help at all? Do they show a missing folder? The more info you can give me beyond “it's not working" will help me try and give you a proper answer.

Thanks for the reply but I have sorted it now, I deleted the faces folder in graphics and then copied the zipped folder into graphics and extracted it there instead of copying everything in after and now it works

Very aware I am probably being silly here and you will have no doubt answered this already at some point. I have downloaded both of the new small packs since the launch of FM26 to update my faces. It doesn't seem to add onto my current save game. Do I have to begin a new game to get these to work? Do I just extract it into the same location and replace all?
